Today is National Women's Physicians Day. This day commemorates the achievements of female doctors across the world. It also marks the birthday of Elizabeth Blackwell, who was the first woman to receive a medical degree in 1849.

Give a shout out to all the women who chose to be a physician! Thank you for all that you do.

Meet our Activity Director, Cindy O'Donnell. She has worked in the LTC industry for 16 years and with Third Avenue for 10 months. She works diligently to engage our residents in meaningful activities and enjoys helping them and seeing them smile! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, son and daughter in law, and her two grandchildren. We are very lucky to have Cindy as part of the Third Avenue team!
