We’re still feeling inspired after attending the "Stop The Stigma, Start The Support" event at Luzerne County Community College on Tuesday! 🙌

This event took a unique and powerful approach to breaking down the barriers around mental illness and addiction. The highlight was hearing our brave community members share their stories of overcoming struggles – a true testament to the strength of the human spirit.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our resource table! We loved the chance to chat with so many amazing students. Together, we can build a more supportive and understanding community.

Last week, we had such a great time at the National Family Week Conference, hosted by The Family Service Association of Northeastern Pennsylvania💙

We had a resource table and had the chance to connect with so many amazing people and organizations that serve our community every day.

This year’s theme, “The Whole Helper: Nourishing the People Behind the Purpose,” was such an important reminder to take care of those who care for others. It was truly a day full of learning, sharing, and inspiration! 🌟

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans 🇺🇸

Today, on Veterans Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served our country with courage, sacrifice, and dedication.

At Wyoming Valley Behavioral Health, we remain committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of our veterans — because those who have served us deserve our continued care and gratitude.

To all who have worn the uniform: thank you for your service and your sacrifice. 💙

When our community comes together, amazing things happen!

Yesterday we witnessed what happens when everyone comes together to serve their community at the Drive-Thru Food Distribution in our parking lot. The event was organized by State Representative Brenda Pugh and her staff and Clancy Harrison and her staff from the Food Dignity Movement They put this together in record time and their dedication to our community is inspiring!

A huge thank you to every single volunteer who rolled up their sleeves to serve their friends and neighbors. Your energy was absolutely amazing!

We’re also grateful to the Kingston Municipal Police Department for their incredible work managing traffic and keeping everyone safe.

A special shout-out to our donors for their donations. We could not have done it without the volunteers although their are too many to name, we did want to thank Mary Butera, Sarah Noble, and Shannon Bukhar from Robinson Counseling Center, Amanda Blaine from Pyramid Healthcare, Nicole Wenrich from Clearvision Health and Wellness, Nancy Shaul from Acadia, and Pam Keefe from Prevention Point NEPA. Thank you to everyone, named and unnamed, who made this possible. This is community in action!

That’s why we’re partnering with State Representative Brenda Pugh, The Food Dignity Movement, and Pyramid Healthcare to host a FREE drive-thru food distribution for our neighbors in the 120th district who will be affected by the loss of November SNAP benefits.

Last week, we were deeply honored to participate in "Wear Purple Day" at The Wilkes Barre VA Medical Center. The day serves as a show of support for survivors of domestic violence, a way to raise awareness about the issue, and a chance to affirm a commitment to ending abuse. We are grateful for the opportunity to have shared resources and to show our support for the brave individuals in our community. 💜
