If concerns about bladder or bowel control are impacting your daily life, you may have a pelvic floor disorder. These disorders, where the pelvic muscles and connective tissue weaken or are injured, are very common and frequently reversible.
Common signs include difficulty starting to urinate or emptying the bladder, frequent urinary tract infections, urinating when sneezing, coughing, laughing or exercising, pain when urinating, leaking stool or difficulty controlling gas.
The Center for Pelvic Wellness at Princeton Medical Center is a highly specialized program for pelvic floor disorders. Treatment includes a comprehensive exam, fluid and dietary education, pelvic floor physical therapy and medication, surgery, and other treatment options when needed.
Our physicians are now available to see patients at the Center for Pelvic Wellness on Centre Drive in Monroe.
