Whether it’s baking a favorite treat together, lighting a fall-scented candle, or taking a short walk through the crisp air, these small acts of care reconnect seniors with the joys of the season.

🎃 5 Halloween Tips for Seniors

Stay Comfortable: Place a sturdy chair near the door so you can enjoy handing out candy without strain.

Keep Walkways Clear: Move decorations, cords, and pumpkins out of paths to avoid trips and falls.

Light the Way: Use bright porch lights or lanterns so visitors can see clearly and you can spot who’s at the door.

Keep Candy Handy: Use a small bowl or basket that’s easy to hold instead of juggling large bags of treats.

Choose a Cutoff Time: Set a “lights out” time to avoid late-night knocks and get the rest you need.
