Freshly harvested thyme — straight from our garden to the lab. 🌿
We started harvesting at 6:50am, finished by 8:00, and had it in our facility for processing by 9:00. That’s peak freshness.
This is wild-type thyme — grown from seed, not cuttings. Why does that matter? Seed-grown plants preserve genetic diversity, which means richer chemistry, greater resilience, and more therapeutic potential. Most thyme this days is grown from cutting — exact clone, a monoculture of thyme.
We planted both English and German thyme to encourage a broad range of constituents. In a world dominated by monocrops, this kind of diversity is rare — and powerful.
