The power of the mind is immense; it can keep us stuck in old fears or open pathways to freedom we never imagined. When we harness this power consciously (through practices like hypnosis) we give ourselves permission to rewrite the narratives that no longer serve us. Healing becomes a collaborative dance between intention and the subconscious, turning obstacles into opportunities for growth. Like the sun gently coaxing flowers to open, hypnosis can illuminate hidden places within us, sparking deep change and self-compassion. This season, consider exploring the quiet power of your own mind—it may hold the keys to the healing and joy you seek.

The shift from July to August is subtle but powerful. July carries a high, active rhythm, filled with sun, movement, and outward expression. In August, the days are still warm, the trees still green, yet something in us starts to shift.
It’s a time of quiet preparation, of letting go without rushing. Like nature, we are learning that transition is its own kind of wisdom. Be sure to make time and enjoy these final gifts of summer.

I am really grateful for our medical system and for so many aspects of modern medicine. I’m also grateful for the individuals who have gone into medicine because they love people and they want to help and heal them.
I do believe however, the system in which they are taught and must provide their services through is limiting and in many aspects, broken. We are faced with a great challenge when it comes to diagnosis of cancer. People are not given options and are fed misinformation, they are fed fear, they are pressed with extreme urgency to rush into decisions.
Cancer is not a diagnosis to be taken lightly and the treatment options are often very intense. It is not fair to pressure patients into a decision-making process immediately following receiving such stressful news.

Summer is a season of vibrant energy, long days, and a sense of freedom that calls us to explore and create. It’s in these moments of playful curiosity that our true creative power emerges, unburdened by rigid expectations. Wellness isn’t just about physical health—it’s also about allowing ourselves space to play, to experiment, and to follow the threads of inspiration that light us up inside. Play shifts our energy from striving to flowing, creating fertile ground for manifestation. Just as nature bursts into bloom under the summer sun, our ideas and desires can come alive when we let ourselves create for the sheer joy of it. So give yourself permission this summer to play, dream boldly, and create freely—your next beautiful manifestation might be waiting in your moments of joy.

Summer is a season of warmth, expansion, and new life bursting into full bloom—a perfect mirror for the process of birthing our dreams. Yet so often, our deepest desires remain dormant under the weight of limiting thoughts and beliefs that whisper we are not enough, or that our visions are too big.
Wellness, in its truest sense, is more than caring for the body; it’s tending to the garden of the mind, pulling out the weeds of doubt so new possibilities can take root. Summer invites us to step into clarity and see beyond the boundaries we’ve unconsciously accepted.
Overcoming these inner barriers isn’t always a grand gesture; sometimes, it begins with simple acts of self-compassion, curiosity, and play. Choosing new thoughts, speaking kinder words to ourselves, or daring to imagine “what if?” are all sparks that ignite creation. As we clear out old patterns, we open the door to joy, freedom, and the vibrant life waiting just beyond our old limitations.
Birthing our dreams, then, becomes an act of welllness—a commitment to nurture both our inner and outer worlds until they flourish together.

Manifestation is more than just wishing for something—it’s a conscious process of aligning your thoughts, beliefs, and actions with your highest intentions. Just like in nature, manifestation unfolds in seasons: the seed is planted, it germinates, it grows—and with time, it blossoms into reality. The key is to remain present, to trust the process, and to act in alignment with your desires, even when the harvest is not yet visible. Manifestation teaches us to co-create with the universe, to honor our dreams while staying open to the divine timing of life.
As we transition into summer, this season becomes a vibrant reminder of manifestation in action. The long, sunlit days invite us to play, create, and reconnect with the passions that light up our souls. It’s a time to shed limiting beliefs, to detoxify what no longer serves us, and to lean into the expansive energy of growth and possibility.
Whether it’s a personal goal, a shift in mindset, or a vision for your wellbeing, allow this season to inspire your manifestation journey. Remember: your desires are sacred, your energy is powerful, and the universe is always conspiring in your favor. What seeds will you plant today that your future self will thank you for?

The Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, is a powerful threshold—a time when the sun reaches its peak, illuminating everything in its radiant light. It’s a moment to pause and honor the fullness of life, the warmth of the season, and the abundant energy that flows through nature and ourselves. The solstice invites us to reflect on what we are ready to expand and manifest. Just as the sun shines its brightest, we are called to step into our own light, embracing our dreams with courage and gratitude.
As we celebrate the Summer Solstice, let it be a time to release what no longer serves you—old stories, limiting beliefs, or stagnant energy—and to plant new seeds of intention for the season ahead. Whether it’s nurturing your body with nourishing practices, deepening your connection to nature, or simply finding joy in the small moments of summer, allow yourself to bask in the energy of expansion. This is a time to honor your growth, to recharge your spirit, and to welcome the next phase of your personal journey. Let the sun’s light remind you: you are radiant, you are whole, and you are worthy of every dream that’s been placed in your heart.
Share this post to someone you love and greet them Happy Summer Solstice!

It is through play that we unlock our most authentic selves… unfiltered, joyful, and deeply connected to the flow of life. When we give ourselves permission to play, we release expectations and let go of rigid structures. We tap into a wellspring of creativity that lives within each of us, waiting to be expressed through art, movement, words, or simply the way we approach life. Play reconnects us to the present moment, inviting us to explore without judgment and to create without attachment to outcomes. It’s in these moments of lightness and spontaneity that we often find inspiration and healing.

Illumination is more than just light. It is the art of seeing clearly, fully, and deeply. It invites us to shine a gentle, compassionate light into the hidden corners of our lives… those places we often overlook, neglect, or avoid. Whether it’s the stories we tell ourselves, the patterns we repeat, or the emotions we suppress, illumination helps us become aware of what truly exists within. It is a process of awakening to our own wisdom, strengths, and growth areas.
In holistic wellness, illumination means tuning into the whispers of our body, mind, and spirit. It’s about recognizing where energy feels blocked, where we need nourishment, and where our light wants to expand. It’s not about perfection… it’s about presence. When we illuminate our inner world, we stop running from what feels uncomfortable, and instead, we hold it with curiosity and care. We learn to work with our energy, not against it. We allow ourselves to rest when needed, to release what no longer serves, and to receive support from the universe and our community.
Illumination is a continuous practice—one that encourages us to live authentically, make aligned choices, and embrace the beautiful, messy process of becoming whole.

Acupressure - Acupressure is an ancient healing art using the fingers to gradually press key healing points which stimulate the body's natural self-curative abilities. Acupressure was developed in Asia over 5,000 years ago. Using the power and sensitivity of the hand, Acupressure Therapy is effective in the relief of stress-related ailments and is ideal for self-treatment and preventive health care for boosting the immune system.
Acupuncture – Acupuncture is among the oldest healing practices in the world. As part of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), acupuncture aims to restore and maintain health through the stimulation of specific points on the body by inserting very thin needles into energy meridians running through the body. Excellent for fibromyalgia and pain management.
Applied Kinesiology or Nutritional Muscle Response Testing - Developed by a Chiropractor, this method is carried out by checking muscle strength of the individual when exposed to various foods, supplements, homeopathics, herbs, or oils. A strong response shows that the source is strengthening the individual while a weak response is weakening the individual. This method is used to select a customized supplement regimen and diet for the client based on their body’s specific needs.
Aromatherapy – The use of plant essences, or essential oils, for therapeutic purposes through supplementation or topical application.
Aromatherapy Massage - Massage that includes traditional massage techniques combined with the use of essential oils to help stimulate relaxation, digestion, kidney and adrenal function, liver cleansing, detoxification and other physiological functions of the body. Custom essential oil blends will be created for the client the day of the treatment based on their body’s physiological needs.
Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy (AOBT) – A barefoot massage technique using deep compression effleurage strokes that glide over the body using organic massage creme. Gravitational force is combined with centrifugal and centripetal movements. This creates a structural change in chronic soft tissue damage. Correct application will provide deep relaxation and stimulate the lymphatic system of the body. Bars are used above the head for support and balance.
Cranio-sacral Massage - (also called CST bodywork or therapy) is an alternative medicine therapy used by osteopaths, massage therapists, naturopaths and chiropractors. A craniosacral therapy session involves the therapist placing their hands on the patient, which they claim allows them to "tune into the craniosacral rhythm". The practitioner gently works with the spine and the skull and its cranial sutures, diaphragms and fascia. In this way, the restrictions of nerve passages are said to be eased, the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spinal cord is said to be optimized and misaligned bones are said to be restored to their proper position. Craniosacral therapists use the therapy to treat mental stress, neck and back pain, migraines, TMJ Syndrome and chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia.
Detoxification and Weight Loss Coaching – Detoxification rids the system of toxins through diet, supplementation, juicing or colon cleansing. This service will be provided by a certified holistic nutritional consultant or holistic health care practitioner who will support clients in creating the appropriate detoxification or weight loss plan based on their personal goals. Various forms of detoxification and cleansing may be recommended to help the body clear itself of toxicity that may be hindering one’s ability to reach a healthy state.
Ear Candling - Ear Candling is the holistic way of treating ear aches and other common issues related to the ear. It is best defined as the use of an ear candle which is a beeswax- or paraffin- wax coated cloth that is shaped into a conical cylinder about 10” to 15” in length with varying widths. Ear Candling is a therapeutic relaxation technique similar to acupressure, acupuncture and aromatherapy.
Grocery Coaching – Learn tips on selecting the healthiest foods from the thousands of choices at the grocery store while keeping money in your wallet! Inexpensive, healthy shopping is an art and this class will educate you on the do’s and don’ts of buying organic, what sections to shop in the store and where to find the healthiest foods in NEPA.
Herbal Medicine – The use of medicinal herbs including roots, berries, flowers, stems, leaves or bark to promote health and healing.
Homeopathy – A medical system that uses infinitesimal doses of natural substances to stimulate a person's immune system and the body's natural defenses. This treatment works on an energetic level only.
Hot Stone Massage - Hot stone massage is reminiscent of a traditional swedish massage with the addition of hot stones specifically placed on the body to achieve optimal therapeutic benefits. The heated stones are also used to massage problem areas throughout the body.
Integrative Holistic Wellness Exams – Offered by our Certified Holistic Health Care Practitioners, an integrative holistic wellness exam will include a comprehensive medical history assessment, including information on lifestyle, diet, emotions and stress levels followed by a non-invasive physical exam that includes use of iridology, traditional Chinese medicine observations, nail analysis, diet therapy and Japanese Hara analysis. Supplements will be selected based on information gathered and the individual will be tested utilizing nutritional muscle response testing and dowsing to determine appropriate treatment. Short and long term goals for reaching optimal health will be discussed after the exam and an individual treatment plan will be created.
Intuitive Massage - Customized massages utilizing herbs and oils specifically chosen by the practitioner based on muscle response testing and the client’s specific health issues. This service can include any or all of the following: relaxation techniques, energy therapy, heat therapy, massage, essential oil therapy and ingestion of herbal tea.
Ionic Foot Baths – Ionic foot baths are a form of detoxing in which the feet are put in a bath or spa that relieves tension and stress as well as removes toxins, heavy metals and parasites from the body.
Iridology – Iridology is the science of analyzing the delicate structures of the iris of the eye to determine body constitution, inherent weaknesses and levels of health of the various systems and organs in the body.
Japanese Hara Analysis – Developed by Japanese physicians this modality includes palpating the mu points, or areas where the Energy of specific organs gathers and collects in the abdominal region. Hara Analysis can recognize abnormal changes in the body that can be used to determine the location and nature of disease
Juicing and Blending Classes – Juicing, blending, and raw foods classes will be offered for individuals looking to learn about cleansing on a deeper level. Many people want to do a juice fast or start eating a raw food diet but don’t know where to start. These classes will offer tips on how to juice, how best to start and stop a juice fast, and preparation of delicious foods through raw foods preparation and blending.
Life Coaching - Life coaching is a practice that helps people identify and achieve personal goals. Life coaches help clients set and reach goals using a variety of tools and techniques. Life coaching draws inspiration from disciplines including sociology, psychology, positive adult development, career counseling, mentoring, and other types of counseling.
Meditation Instruction and Practice – Meditation is a self-directed practice for relaxing the body and calming the mind. The aim is to bring inner peace within the self and the world in a positive and spiritual way. Meditation is a self-healing process. Studies have found that regular meditation can reduce healthcare use; increase longevity and quality of life; reduce chronic pain; reduce anxiety; reduce high blood pressure; reduce serum cholesterol level; reduce substance abuse; increase intelligence-related measures; reduce post-traumatic stress syndrome in war veterans; lower blood cortisol levels initially brought on by stress.
Nutritional Counseling – Nutritional counseling is an ongoing process in which a health professional works with an individual to assess his or her usual dietary intake and identify areas where change is needed. Simple changes in diet can affect the health of the individual. Our practitioners work on a gradual basis to help the client move in the right direction with his or her health goals without shocking the system or making it too difficult of a regimen to follow. The counselor will create a personal education and food program specifically based on one’s needs and goals, utilizing supplementation and dietary changes while providing information, educational materials, support and follow-up consults to help the individual create and maintain their lifestyle change.
Raindrop Technique Massage - An essential oil massage technique based on Lakota Native healing, Raindrop Therapy is the application of powerful antibacterial, antiviral oils along the spine. Raindrop has helped bring relief to chronic pain sufferers and has been known to cause visible improvement in scoliosis. It is also used for treating back pain, knee pain, tight shoulders and digestive system discomfort.
Reflexology – Reflexology is an alternative medicine involving the physical act of applying pressure to the feet, hands, or ears with specific thumb, finger and hand techniques without the use of oil or lotion. It is based on a system of zones and reflex areas on the feet and hands that correspond to various organs and parts of the body. By massaging these points we are able to affect circulation and energy flow to re-establish balance.
Reiki – Reiki was developed in 1922 by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui. The teaching was continued and adapted by various teachers. It uses a technique commonly called palm healing as a form of complementary and alternative medicine and is sometimes classified as oriental medicine by some professionals. Through the use of this technique, practitioners transfer healing energy in the form of ki through the palms.
Traditional Chinese Medicine – Asserts that the body has natural patterns of Chi or Energy that circulates throughout the body in channels called meridians. Symptoms of various illnesses are often believed to be the product of disrupted, blocked or unbalanced Chi. Observations of pulse, tongue, and skin, among others, allows the practitioner to determine potential pathways for balancing the system.
Yoga – We will be offering private and semi-private yoga lessons which will provide a space in which the client can connect more with his or her own body, mind and spirit as well as getting individualized attention from his or her yoga instructor. Yoga poses and postures as well as breathing exercises can be selected especially to suit the client’s individual needs.
