In early 2020, just days after I had committed to a major expansion of my wellness center, COVID shut everything down overnight.
Plans I had spent years building simply dissolved. Structures I had trusted, my center, my schedule, my sense of what came next, all of it disappeared within days.
I was forced to sit with a question I had never really had to answer before: what do I do when the path I was on no longer exists?
What followed was a full year of letting go. Of places, of roles, of identities I had built my life around. It was not graceful or linear.
Something became undeniably clear on the other side of that experience. Clarity appears when we are finally given permission to slow down and stop.
Not everything that falls apart is a loss. Some of it is just making room for what is actually meant for you.
