It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our colleague, Det. William Kresser.

Unfortunately, Bill succumbed from a self-inflicted gunshot wound today at Health Alliance Hospital in Kingston. This is a heartbreaking loss.

We are doing all we can to support Det. Kresser’ s family and friends right now. This is a very difficult time for everyone.

The agency will be offering supportive services and counseling for his co-workers, many of us have worked alongside him or been trained by him for nearly 20 years.

We understand that this news may be difficult to process, and we encourage everyone to support one another during this time. You are not alone, and help is available.
