Sitting in a conference room full of leaders from all professional sectors including law enforcement, mental health, hospitality, healthcare, government officials, researchers, and psychiatrist where ALL believed MENTAL HEALTH is HEALTH was quite powerful.

Abby, Kellieann, and Ally were able to attend breakout sessions that included speakers from NAMI, The Nehemiah Project, and on QPR( Question, Persuade, and Refer).

Keynote speaker Dr. Robert "Navy Bob" Roncska was by far the most relatable and powerful part of this conference though. Navy Bob speaks on how to help leaders foster relational strength, live their values, and lead with love - even when it’s hard. He speaks on how RELATIONSHIPS are directly connected to improved health and happiness.

Now, our goal is to bring Navy Bob to Maryland and QACPS!

✨ Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week Wellness Fairs✨

We’re SO proud to host TWO amazing days supporting student wellness at our local high schools in partnership with QACPS and 30 AMAZING community partners💚

📍Day 1: Queen Annes County High School & CMS 8th Graders
📍 Day 2: Kent Island High School

Together with QACPS, we’re creating safe spaces where students feel seen, heard, and supported.

Let’s continue to break the stigma and prioritize mental health—because every student deserves to have their story heard❤️‍🩹

A special thank you to our Administration at both schools, the CHRC for funding, and every provider that created a positive experience for the youth over the last two days. Lastly- to our SFWT girls; thank you for pouring your hearts into this work every single day💚🫧🧘🏻‍♀️🏀🎨🎟️🦮
