If you are seeking funding for education, consider SCWorks (WIOA program). Whether you are an adult seeking fast-paced training or have a child 18 years old or older in need of funding, it is essential to explore available resources.

While technical schools and universities offer valuable education, it is crucial to note that many institutions still have available funds. If you or someone you know is attending a technical school or university, it is advisable to inquire about potential funding opportunities before utilizing personal finances. The meeting we attended was highly informative and worthwhile. Take advantage of great opportunities because we will experience a great closure on some fundings. Take advantage of workforce development training opportunities.

Update Effective December 1, 2025

Students participating in the SNAP2WORK program will be required to complete an assessment at registration. This measure is being implemented to ensure that program funds are being allocated efficiently to support students who are committed to their career goals.
SNAP students, please ensure that you renew your application with DSS in a timely manner, as your enrollment is contingent upon updated information in the system. If the system indicates that you are ineligible during the enrollment process, please note that this is a DSS system determination and not a decision of the school. We recommend that you contact your caseworker to resolve any issues. To avoid disruptions, please prioritize renewing your application on schedule.

We are currently accepting applications from eligible SNAP2WORK recipients who are interested in joining the program in 2026. We are also limited on funds so students can also go through other entities such as WIOA, SC VOC REHAB, or LadderShare (Greenville).
