๐Ÿ’™ COP Wore Blue for Diabetes Awareness! ๐Ÿ’™

TAMU College of Pharmacy showed up in a sea of blue to observe our annual Diabetes Awareness "Blue Day"!

We are proud to dedicate this day to raising visibility for a condition that impacts millions of lives. As future pharmacists and healthcare professionals, it is vital that we educate, advocate, and innovate to support those living with diabetes and work toward prevention.

Thank you to all of our incredible students, faculty, and staff who wore blue to stand in solidarity and spark conversation. Every blue shirt represents a commitment to knowledge and care.

Together, we are making a difference!

Every child deserves safe, effective medicine made just for them.

At Texas A&M, that vision is becoming reality. Researchers at the Texas A&M College of Pharmacy are leading a first-of-its-kind project โ€” recently recognized by Fast Company as Innovation by Design โ€” to bring 3D-printed, custom medications to childrenโ€™s hospitals.

By uniting pharmacists, engineers, doctors and scientists, Texas A&M is helping to build a healthier, safer future for kids everywhere.

About the Rangel College of Pharmacy

The Rangel College of Pharmacy opened its doors to students in 2006 to meet a critical need in the South Texas community. The college has now established an exceptional pharmacy program, obtained full professional accreditation, and has graduated six cohorts of students.

Today, 42 percent of the collegeโ€™s graduates have returned to South Texas to help underserved populations. The collegeโ€™s leadership strives to entrench a culture of excellence, education, research, practice and patient care in each professional student enrolled.

Guided by a set of core values that are referred to as five Cs (care, compassion, competence, community and collaboration), the Rangel College of Pharmacy continues to advance the profession of pharmacy and to enhance the quality of peoplesโ€™ lives in South Texas, Texas and beyond.

The college is ranked in the Top 50 for pharmacy programs in the country, per the recent U.S. News and World Report rankings.
