What a great day we had! Volleyball, with a twist, was played today. Clients used pool noodles to volley a balloon 🎈across to each other. It was wonderful to hear their laughter (separate post). We also had our monthly fire drill. The clients and staff did a fantastic job of evacuating the building in a timely manner. 🔥🧯🤗

Today we bid farewell to our nurse, Irma! She will be missed, but we are also wishing her the best as she embarks on her next adventure. Thank you Irma for all that you did for the clients and staff at VIP! ❤️

The VIP Olympics has come to an end. 💙💛🖤💚❤️ Clients had nine days of events to showcase their talents. Medals and ribbons were presented today. Congratulations to those who had the highest scores overall and in each event as well as all who participated! Everyone is indeed a winner! 🩷

Button and sequins art were on the agenda today! Clients also either completed their Faux Stained Glass or created one for the first time! In addition, the final event, 100 yd dash, of the VIP Olympics occurred today. Tomorrow awards will be given! 🤗

What an eventful day we had! Thank you to Mary Dall Del Bosque from St. Martin’s Church for visiting our center to administer ashes to our clients and staff as this begins the Lent season. 🙏

Clients then continued with their quest to outdo each other in our VIP Olympics by competing in Ping Pong Toss and Olympic Ring Toss! 🥇🥈🥉

Karaoke continued today as our clients enjoy singing and dancing! 🎶🎤🎶

Finally, we created Faux Stained Glass frames. What a hit that was! 🤗 The participants thoroughly enjoyed the craft. A few clients will finish theirs tomorrow! ❤️

Today clients continued the VIP Olympic events with a Sky Ring Toss. They’re working to earn gold, silver, and bronze medals. 🥇🥈🥉 The closing ceremony will occur on Friday! 🤗

In addition, we celebrated Mardi Gras, VIP style! 💜💛💚 Second line dancing was displayed for clients to have an understanding of the reason for the celebration and learned about traditions such as bead throwing, music, parades, and more!
