We welcome comments that facilitate communication on topics concerning the Naval Branch Health Clinic Kingsville. We reserve the right to determine what comments violate our policy and will remove posts that violate it. User comments do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the Naval Branch Health Clinic Kingsville, the Department of the Navy, the Defense Health Agency, the Department of War, or the United States.
Our social media activities are not intended to act as an alternative to visiting your doctor or contacting your local facility. We do not include any personal health information (PHI) on our social media networks or MTF websites, and PHI will be removed if posted by a user. If you have an urgent health issue or concern, please contact your primary care provider or patient advocate. For benefit related issues, please contact the appropriate TRICARE office. Please remember, the information you post online is public. To protect your own privacy and the privacy of others, do not include personally identifiable information (PII) such as Social Security numbers, phone numbers, addresses, or e-mail addresses in the body of your comment.
Please observe the following guidelines or your comments will be subject to removal:
- No classified information or sensitive military content
- No copyright protected material
- No impersonations
- No information that violates privacy or operational security (OPSEC)
- No hateful, violent, or offensive content
- No endorsements and promotions
- No personal attacks
- No po*******hy or sexual content
- No off-topic remarks
- No spam/malicious code
- Any other content that could put the United States or DOW at risk
Expression of views inconsistent with official DOW, Department of the Navy or Defense Health Agency policy to the extent they are in conflict with good order, morale, discipline and mission accomplishment are subject to removal.
Additionally, comments will be removed at our discretion if they are deemed to be:
* defamatory, or otherwise unlawful, content that violates laws regarding harassment, discrimination, privacy or contempt
* intentionally false or misleading
* abusive, offensive, insulting, or aggressive. Name-calling, sexism and racial vilification will not be tolerated under any circumstances
* off-topic, willfully ignorant or repetitious to the point where a single commenter is deliberately dominating the conversation
* compromising the privacy of oneself, other contributors, or of 8 MDG patients or staff, or containing inappropriate personal information
* an infringement of copyright or other intellectual property rights
* seeking to endorse commercial products or activities or to solicit business
* deliberate provocation of other community members
Any violation of the above can result in accounts being banned immediately.
As a healthcare institution it is our responsibility to ensure medically sound and scientifically accurate information on our digital and social media platforms. In accordance with that responsibility and Facebookâs Community Guidelines, we reserve the right to remove posts or comments that do not conform to our guidance. This includes, but is not limited to, misinformation that goes against the advice of medical professionals and peer-reviewed studies.

We recognize that the web is a 24/7 medium, and your comments are welcome at any time. However, given the need to manage federal resources, moderating and posting of comments will occur during regular business hours Monday through Friday. Comments and messages submitted after hours or on weekends will be read and responded to as early as possible on the next business day.
Members of the media are asked to send questions to the appropriate office of public affairs through their normal channels and to refrain from submitting questions as comments. These comments are subject to removal.
