Meet our Intake Coordinator: Alisa Hillery, LPN.
Alisa has been with LHC Group for 14 years and a healthcare professional for 22 years! In addition to handling intake for our location, this Swiftie also helps with other important office tasks and assists our sister agencies. A fixture in the community, she’s known for her passion for home health and her crocheting abilities! When asked, “Why home health?”, her answer was simple - “Home health allows 1 on 1 care where the patient feels most comfortable.”

Today, we recognized our PT’s for going above and beyond. Kyle (left) met a patient at her home when she returned from her joint replacement surgery. She was very anxious about figuring out how she was going to get out of her car and navigate 3 steps to get into her home. Kyle was right there when she arrived home to help her get out of her car and into her home safely. Siva (right) stopped by a patient’s house to help his wife get him into the car, knowing that they were going to the ER and he wouldn’t be able to perform the admission. We are so grateful to have such a great PT team! Thank you Kyle and Siva, we appreciate you!

This week, we are proud to recognize, Siva, one of our physical therapists for going above and beyond to improve the quality of life for one of our patients. She said that before Siva started coming to see her, she had a lot of trouble dressing herself, which limited her ability to participate in many activities that she enjoyed. She stated that, “Now I can get dressed by myself!”. It’s the little things that we all take for granted, that we don’t realize are so hard for others. Thank you Siva!

We are so fortunate to have such a great team. A patient recognized Tiara Mayle, PTA, for going above and beyond. Tiara went the extra mile for the patient when she was having uncontrollable pain. Thank you Tiara! We are so thankful to have you on our team!
