YogaOne Kingwood YogaOne Kingwood offers a variety of hot, warm, and regular temperature classes EVERY day for beginners, intermediate, and advanced yogis. Our Story.

Hot yoga classes are conducted in a hot room with temperatures of 102-105 degrees, and 40-60% humidity. YogaOne originally opened August 1, 2016 by Nikki and Lance Shealy. It became YogaWorks in October of 2017, where Nikki continued to enthusiastically teach Hot Yoga and Sonic Hot Yoga. In June 2020, Nikki and Lance had the opportunity to bring YogaOne back to the Kingwood community; and most importantly…. bring our yoga family together again. Nikki and Lance are beyond thrilled to have this opportunity and can’t wait to see everyone!

Through engaging discussion and guided practice, we will:
Understand how yoga and breath positively affect the entire body system.
Appreciate how yoga aligns with scientific principles. Recognize yoga and breath techniques as effective tools for building strength, relieving stress, and restoring vitality. Blending theory with practice, we’ll explore core yogic techniques such as Ujjayi breath, Bandhas, Mudras, Spinal Pranayama, and Drishti, emphasizing their physiological and psychological impacts. You’ll also learn how these techniques activate the parasympathetic nervous system, reduce inflammation, support hormonal balance, and aid in emotional healing—making yoga a holistic approach to well-being. By the end of the session, participants will embody the teachings through a guided Himalayan Hatha Yoga practice that integrates gentle movement, breath awareness, and mindfulness. Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, this workshop offers a grounded, science-informed approach to using yoga as a tool for deep healing and systemic health.
