Kingwood Speech Pathology Services, PLLC Kingwood Speech Pathology Services (KSPS) is a comprehensive speech therapy clinic for people of all ages with communication disorders, delays and differences.

Additionally, occupational therapy is offered for the pediatric population. KSPS has been serving the community since 1981. Now under the direction of Elizabeth Parker, who has owned and operated KSPS since 2001.

April is occupational therapy month. Meet Jocelyn our newest member of our OT team.

Jocelyn was born and raised in northwest Houston. She moved to Austin to pursue an electrical engineering degree at the University of Texas, but changed passions to starting a family and working with children. She returned to the Houston area in 2014, and now lives with her two sons and two cats in Kingwood. Together they enjoy reading books, playing strategy board games and playing video games as a family.

Jocelyn has worked as a pediatric COTA since 2018, working with a wide range of diagnoses including severely affected and complex conditions, with a special interest in sensory processing needs. She provides effective, family-centered care through creative activities, and brings a genuine passion for pediatric care every day.

Kingwood Speech rarely closes in advance of weather events. We handle patient schedules on a case by case basis with the needs of the patient and therapist in mind. We will wait for the weather to arrive and make adjustments to our schedule as needed. Often these adjustments are moving patients later in the day. Kingwood Speech is excited to add a part-time Occupational Therapist to our team. Meet Caitlin True, OTR.

Caitlin is a pediatric occupational therapist who has practiced exclusively in the pediatric setting since 2019. She earned her undergraduate degree from Baylor University and her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Caitlin is passionate about helping children build confidence, independence, and functional skills through play-based, individualized therapy, and she loves teaching children real-life skills that are meaningful to them and their families. She values partnering closely with families to support progress that carries over into everyday life.

Caitlin has lived in Kingwood since 1998 and is deeply rooted in the community that raised her. Outside of the clinic, she is actively involved in her church and enjoys life with her husband, their two-year-old son, and their dog. She is truly excited and honored to serve the families of the Kingwood community.
