April is National Counseling Awareness Month
Today, we honor the clinicians who show up with compassion, wisdom, and unwavering care.

You sit in the hard moments.
You help carry what feels too heavy.
You remind others they’re not alone.

We see you. We appreciate you. You matter.

We want to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who made this 2026: Sound Mind Mental Health Summit possible! There were so many involved, and we could not have done this without all of you!

Here is a word from Dr. Delgadillo:
" I want to pause and express my sincere gratitude to each of you for being here. Your presence matters, and this moment is richer because you chose to be part of it.

To our presenters, thank you for being willing to pour out your knowledge, wisdom, and calling in this space. Your preparation, faithfulness, and leadership are shaping the conversations and setting a tone of excellence and integrity for this summit.

To our attendees, thank you for showing up with openness, intention, and expectancy. Your engagement, reflections, and willingness to lean into the work create an atmosphere where growth, learning, and connection can truly take place.

To our CAC team, I am deeply thankful for you. Your diligence, sacrifice, and servant leadership both seen and unseen are actively sustaining this summit. What is unfolding here is possible because of your faithfulness and unity.

We are especially grateful to our Texas Gulf Coast District Superintendent , Ken Gurley and to First Church of Pearland for your generosity, partnership, and hospitality. Your support has created a space where community, wisdom, and spiritual formation are happening in real time.

Above all, we thank our Lord Jesus Christ for His goodness and His presence with us right now. We acknowledge that every meaningful connection, every word spoken, and every moment of clarity is made possible by Him. To God be the glory for what is happening among us.

It is an honor to stand together in this moment with such devoted clinicians, ministers, pastors, leaders, and servants. Thank you for being here and for sharing in the work God is doing through the Center for Apostolic Counseling."

About Us

The Center for Apostolic Counseling (CAC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Marion E. Pietz, a Licensed Professional Counselor & Supervisor. The CAC has a three-fold purpose:

1. To provide counseling & therapeutic services from an Apostolic worldview by State licensed mental health professionals (LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, etc…).

2. To act as a primary support for pastors by providing mental health education, workshops/seminars, and to be a resource for those who need a place to send their constituents. Also, supporting those pastors who are seeking help for themselves or their families.

3. To act as a networking center for all Apostolic, State licensed therapist and mental health professionals by providing resources, education, referrals, and connection with other Apostolics.
