✝️Protect them when they drive or are being driven. Protect them when they take a walk or sit outside their homes. Protect them when they go for hospital visits and carry out medical tests. Protect them inside their homes from danger, disasters and calamity. Protect those amongst them with mental illness and memory loss from mishaps. I pray that everywhere they go, your presence will always go with them as a guide and shield. And may your angels continually watch over them to protect them from all harm. Amen!

❄️ Older adults may not feel temperature changes as acutely as younger individuals, making them more susceptible to hypothermia. This condition can set in quickly when exposed to extreme cold, even indoors, if heating is inadequate. Frostbite is another concern for individuals who spend time outdoors.

✨Always accepting donations for warm items for our residents. Blankets, fuzzy socks, scarves make great donations as well as lotion to keep skin moisturized

❄️ As extreme cold becomes more common, it’s crucial to protect the elderly from these risks. Cold temperatures, coupled with physical exertion, can lead to heart attack and other serious health events.

❄️ Cold weather makes the heart work harder to maintain body temperature, raising blood pressure and heart rate, which is particularly dangerous for those with pre-existing heart conditions.
Keep an eye on your elderly family and neighbors. Especially with the cold weather on the way.
