A member of the Frontier Senior Living network of retirement communities, which consists of more than 100 properties located in nearly 20 states all across the U.S., The Auberge at Kingwood provides residents with assisted living services and memory care for those who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. 😊 It was a SPARKTACULAR Happy Hour today at The Auberge at Kingwood! ❤️

🥰 Our Culinary Club created the awesome dishes that we enjoyed together! Miss Barbara assigned our WONDERFUL Executive Director, Miss Santresa, to finish our 7 Layer dip, while she worked on the simple syrup for our refreshing Lavender Lemonade Mint Julep! ☀️

💛 She and one of our AMAZING care staff, Miss Angel, then served our residents, with Miss Phyllis giving a stamp of approval, and Miss Jean loving the drink so much she asked for a PERSONAL copy of the recipe! 🍸

😊 This Happy Hour truly demonstrates the beauty of our SPARK as it shows our entire community, from directors, care staff and residents working together to make a wonderful event! 🥳

The Auberge at Kingwood wants to welcome our new Executive Chef to our wonderful team!

Chef Xavier Guidry is a native of Beaumont Tx but has resided in the Houston Metroplex since late 2007.

He began his culinary career in Houston TX in 2010 in a small restaurant which led him to culinary school at Culinary Institute Lenôtre’ in 2012 based here in Houston.

With a wealth of experience, Chef Xavier has been in the healthcare industry for a decade and 8 of those years have been centered around senior living.

His favorite foods to cook are a mixture of Creole and Cajun cuisines, stemming from his roots of Southern Louisiana and Southeast Texas.

Chef Xavier enjoys cooking, swimming, and spending time with his kids and their extracurricular activities.
