Edwards County Ambulance service will be participating in the Battle of the Badges to help support the Family Crisis Center. April is SA awareness month as well as Child Abuse Prevention Month. April 1st-April 22nd, we will be gathering items to help our local Family Crisis Center. The flyer attached are the items able to be accepted. If you would like to drop items off, items can be brought to the Edwards County Sheriff' s Office or Edwards County EMS Office.

Our team’s commitment to service extends far beyond their roles on the ambulance.
Several of our staff members — Charles, John, Adena, Sam, Alex, and Michelle — dedicate their time as volunteer firefighters, serving their communities in critical moments.
Nicole and Sandy invest in the next generation by coaching recreational soccer, fostering teamwork and growth in local youth.
Greg travels to educate and train healthcare providers, sharing lifesaving knowledge and strengthening care in communities near and far.
Charles, Zane, Jeremy, and Andrew are also actively involved in law enforcement, further demonstrating their commitment to public safety.
Alisha, CEO of the hospital, serves as an EMT, leading by example with hands-on dedication to patient care.
Julia contributes through her service in the Ford County Reserves.

Our service doesn’t end when the shift does. We are proud to serve in many capacities and grateful for every opportunity to make a difference.

We are now in a winter storm warning from friday at 6p to sunday at 6a.

Well, it looks like Mother Nature is going to try to be really spicy for the next few days. Expect extremely cold temps and snow. We are in a winter storm watch till Sunday at 6am and a cold weather advisory until noon on Sunday. Hypothermia will be an issue if you are outside for more than 15 minutes and have exposed skin. Currently, it is still looking like we could get 6"-8" of Snow. Travel will be slow, so use caution. As always, be safe out there!

We haven’t heard much from Mother Nature lately since she decided to dump snow and leave, but we knew she was still lurking around somewhere. And now she’s bringing out a bit of her spicy side again, just in time for the weekend. So hang on to your hats and everything else, winds will be 25-30 with gust of 60 mph. Yikes! This creates extreme fire danger. So check those previous fire spots and no new burning! Then Saturday as mother nature decides to turn the tables and bring us highs in the 30's and gentle breezes of 15-20 mph, make sure and dress warm if you have to be outside. As always stay safe out there.
