We appreciate each of our staff members and we couldn’t do it without them! This week we’re introducing another one of our cashiers, Tobie Jones!

Q: How long have you worked for Dempsey’s Drugs and Kinston Clinic?
A: I’ve been working at Dempsey’s Drugs and Kinston Clinic for about six months now!

Q: What is your favorite part about working for Kinston Clinic and Dempsey’s Drugs?
A: My favorite part is definitely the people. I love joking with my coworkers and talking with our customers every day. Working here has definitely helped me come out of my shell and feel more comfortable talking to people.

Q: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
A: In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.

Q: How long have you worked for Dempsey’s Drugs and Kinston Clinic?
A: I have been working here for officially two years!

Q: What is your favorite part about working for Kinston Clinic and Dempsey’s Drugs?
A: My favorite part about working for Kinston Clinic and Dempsey's Drugs is my co-workers. Everyone is always willing to help out each other and work as a team. I enjoy being able to try new things with my job and my co-workers being by my side and helping me through. I also enjoy our customers, it is always so fun to create small talk!

Q: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
A: In my free time, I am typically hanging out with my family and friends. I love going shopping, or going to the beach when it's summer!

This week we’re introducing another one of our pharmacy technicians, Noelle Corwin!

Q: How long have you worked for Dempsey’s Drugs and Kinston Clinic?
A: I have been with Kinston Clinic and Dempsey’s Drugs for a little over a year now!

Q: What inspired you to become a pharmacy technician?
A: My best friend’s mother also works as a pharmacy technician at Kinston Clinic, and informed me about the job opening. It truly fell into my lap at the perfect time, and gave me the fresh start I didn’t know I needed!

Q: What is your favorite part about working for Kinston Clinic and Dempsey’s Drugs?
A: My favorite part about working for Kinston Clinic and Dempsey’s Drugs is the beautiful people I’ve met along the way! This job has opened doors for me and my family and I am so grateful! My co workers are always supportive and know how to lift each other up!

Q: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
A: In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, working out at the gym, being outside, or trying new recipes!

Update for Tuesday, February 3, 2026

❄️ Weather-Related Delay ❄️

Due to road safety and parking lot concerns from our recent winter storm, all of our drugstores will open at 10:00 AM tomorrow. This includes Kinston Clinic Pharmacy, Dempsey's Drugs La Grange, and Dempsey's Drugs Jackson Heights.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to safely care for our patients. Thank you for your patience, and please stay safe.

Due to dangerous parking lots, sidewalks, and road conditions, we unfortunately will be closed at all locations on Monday, February 2, 2026! Please stay safe and warm! We will keep you posted on Tuesday’s hours!

❄️ Weather Update ❄️

We are planning and hope to be open on Saturday, but with the uncertainty of the incoming snowstorm, we can’t say for sure just yet. To be on the safe side, we encourage you to pick up any medications you may need today.

We’ll continue to monitor the weather and will post updates as soon as we know more. Thank you for your understanding, and please stay warm and safe!

Beginning Tuesday, January 20, our pharmacy will be transitioning to a new software system. While this upgrade will allow us to better serve our patients and our community in the long run, there may be temporary delays as we learn the new system.

We kindly ask for your patience and understanding during this transition. Our team is working hard to make the process as smooth as possible while continuing to provide the care and service you expect from us.

Our store hours will be adjusted during the week of Christmas! Please be sure to pick up and refill any medications you may need ahead of time as we will be closing early on Wednesday, December 24th at 1PM and will be closed on Thursday, December 25th and Friday, December 26th.
