We had to grab a few tissues today 🥹💙
This sweet lady headed back to her Assisted Living home after finishing her rehab stay with us. She worked so hard in therapy and became such a bright spot for everyone here!

She said she loved it so much she didn’t want to leave (and honestly… we didn’t want her to either 💕).

We’re so proud of her progress and wish her all the happiness and success as she continues her journey!

Celebrating Debbie Street – 35 Years of Dedication and Heart

After 35 wonderful years with Signature HealthCARE, Debbie Street, CEO of Signature HealthCARE of Elizabethton Rehab & Wellness Center is retiring.

Debbie began her journey with Signature in the Business Office and Human Resources, and over the years, her leadership and compassion have left an enduring impact on residents, staff, and the community she calls home.

“What I love most about Signature is our focus on residents’ happiness and staff engagement,” Debbie shares. “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities for growth and learning that Signature HealthCARE has provided me. I’ve had the chance to collaborate with remarkable colleagues and be part of many exciting projects that have truly changed the landscape of long-term care.”

Having grown up in the Elizabethton community, Debbie has known many residents and their families personally. She treasures the moments spent listening to their life stories — moments that reflect the deep sense of family and connection that define Signature’s mission.

As she steps into retirement, Debbie looks forward to spending more quality time with her family, especially serving as her granddaughter’s chauffeur to school and sports. She also plans to indulge in her love for DIY projects, church work, and traveling — taking time to simply slow down and enjoy life’s blessings.

“I sincerely appreciate the relationships I’ve built and the experiences that have enriched my life,” Debbie says. “Thank you for the opportunities and trust you’ve placed in me during my 35 years. I wish Signature HealthCARE continued success. God bless.”

💙 Today we’re celebrating one of our residents who’s heading home after working incredibly hard in therapy!

We tried to snap a photo to capture this special moment… but let’s just say the camera wasn’t invited. 😄 (We totally respect that and we’re still going to brag a little!)

From the start, this resident showed determination, grit, and a great sense of humor - all the things that make progress possible. Now, after putting in the work and trusting the process, they’re ready to go home to their family and the comfort of familiar surroundings.

We couldn’t be prouder and we wish them all the best as they continue their journey at home. 💪🏡
