This message is important and honestly a little hard to write, but it comes from a place of so much thankfulness and gratitude. 🤍
Over the past year, my schedule has become completely full, and while I am beyond thankful for each and every one of you, I’ve reached a point where working back-to-back appointments Monday- Friday has begun to affect my health. Most days I’m starting around 8:30am and not getting home until 7:30pm, often without a lunch break. I’ve also realized I’m missing out on time at home with my kids and their school activities, and that’s something I truly want and need to be present for.
In addition to this, I am currently in school to become a permanent makeup artist, and I need to create room in my schedule to grow and offer this new service as well. In order to do that..and to better care for my health, my family, and myself, I will be cutting back my clientele and taking one day off each week, which will mostly be Mondays.
This decision was not made lightly. Please know this is not what I want to do — I truly love each and every one of you and am so grateful for the amazing clients I’ve been blessed with.
For those who would like to continue their nail services, I am happy to recommend Candace and Brooke. They are both located at the salon in the same room I am currently in and offer different schedules, which allows for some flexibility. I trust them completely to take great care of you.
Because of this transition, I haven’t booked many appointments into the new year just yet, but I am actively working on getting everyone worked in and opening up booking for the new year as smoothly as possible, so please bear with me during this time. I appreciate your understanding, your kindness, and your continued support more than I can express. Thank you for allowing me the space to find a better balance while still doing what I love so much.
With love and gratitude,
Lex 🤍
