UNC Health Lenoir Volunteers Join a group of dedicated volunteers!

Whether you have retired after a long career, are just beginning school, or somewhere in between, volunteer opportunities abound for everyone at UNC Lenoir. We boast over 200 volunteers working in 20-plus departments, and a summer program attracts the talents of 50 students each year. As a UNC Lenoir volunteer, you will have the opportunity to serve in many capacities that benefit patients, visitors and the community. Here are some ways you can help:
•Staff the Information Desk
•Deliver Mail & Flowers
•Admit and Discharge Patients
•Aid Families in Surgical Family Waiting Room
•Serve Customers in the Gift Shop
•Provide Snacks to Staff and Patients via the Cheer Cart
•Transport patients via the courtesy golf cart from visitor parking lot to hospital entrance.
•Serve as a member of our Volunteer Leadership Team

UNC Health Lenoir is currently seeing higher-than-normal patient volumes due to an increase in respiratory illnesses in our community.

If you are feeling sick, please take precautions to help protect others, including frequent hand washing, wearing a mask, and limiting exposure when possible. Please keep this in mind when visiting the hospital, especially if you are at higher risk for respiratory viruses.

The staff at UNC Health Lenoir remains vigilant in protecting our community, our patients, and our care teams. We appreciate your consideration and patience as we continue to care for those in need. Thank you for helping us keep our patients, visitors, and staff safe.
