Meet Barbara Demint, Our October/ November Resident Spotlight!
Born July 15, 1934, to Charles and Faye Stout near Hazelton, Kansas, Barbara grew up surrounded by love as one of seven children. As a young girl, she once made a Christmas wish for a baby sister, and two days after Christmas, that wish came true!
Years later, a last-minute decision to attend a New Year’s Eve dance changed her life, that’s where she met Stub DeMint. The two married in 1974 and shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and adventure together.
A true maker at heart, Barb found joy in crafting and quilting, her beautiful quilts became keepsakes for family and friends. But above all, her favorite title has always been Grandma Barbie, a role she cherishes with endless pride and love.
