This week marked our 8th walk with the Kirkland Steppers, and we explored the stunning trails of Big Finn Hill Park! The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and our residents loved soaking in the beauty of nature alongside fellow walkers.

At MorningStar of Kirkland, we believe kindness is a gift—both to give and to receive. 💫

In honor of Paint a Rock Day, residents gathered to create something truly special: vibrant blue rocks adorned with red hearts, each one a small but mighty symbol of love and connection. 💙❤️

This beautiful project, organized by our very own resident Cynthia (thank you, Cynthia!), also included uplifting stories of random acts of kindness to inspire us all. 🌟

It was a joyful afternoon of painting, storytelling, and celebrating the kind-hearted spirit that makes our community shine.

Our residents at MorningStar of Kirkland gathered for their monthly Men’s Lunch, and this month’s theme — hosted by our very own Phil — was all about “Car Talk!”

Over a delicious spread of pancakes, eggs with chives, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice, and coffee, the conversation shifted into high gear with stories, memories, and favorite cars of the past.

A great time was had by all — and they’re already revving up for next month’s lunch!

Our residents laced up their sneakers for the 7th walk with the Kirkland Steppers, this time exploring the scenic Tambark Park in Mill Creek! With beautiful trails, a bubbling creek, and wide open athletic fields, it was the perfect spot to enjoy the sunshine and stay active.

Sandy’s goal was to raise awareness not only for families but also for residents who may not be fully prepared for emergencies. She covered important topics like medical directives, the importance of carrying detailed health information, and the differences between a trust and a will.

Our 4th of July celebration was an absolute blast! 🎉 Residents showed off their red, white, and blue spirit and had a great time with a festive pet parade, outdoor games like putt-putt golf, Connect Four, and even a hot dog-eating co****le contest! We wrapped up the fun with Happy Hour on the Tree House Deck and a mouthwatering BBQ dinner. A perfect day of laughter, sunshine, and celebration! 🇺🇸🌭🏌️‍♀️🍹
