This week marks , a powerful initiative to raise awareness about transportation equity and accessibility. At the recent King County Council meeting, Councilmember Claudia Balducci presented the "Week Without Driving Proclamation" to EvergreenHealth and Disability Rights Washington. 🚲

EvergreenHealth's CEO Dr. Ettore Palazzo, MD, FACP, accepted the proclamation on behalf of EvergreenHealth, reinforcing our commitment to transportation equity and inclusive mobility. EvergreenHealth Monroe was honored to join the Washington State Hospital Association for a recent visit to Washington, D.C., where we met with Congresswoman Suzan DelBene, Senator Maria Cantwell, and Senator Patty Murray.

Together, we discussed health care priorities for Snohomish County and our region, including access to care, affordability, and support for rural communities. These conversations are vital to ensuring our patients receive the care they need, no matter where they live.
