I have one more class this evening. Some days I have more guests than others, but it's always a great way to start and end the day with meditation/relaxation style yoga.

I hope you get to treat yourself to a trip soon or with the family, wherever that may be!

04/16/2026

Grateful to start the day this way. Beach, waves, sun, pelicans, meditation, yoga with guests, meeting people from around the world, slowing down.

I recognize this is vacation, but as busy parents it's important to slow down and have even 12 seconds of clarity and awareness.

What do your 12 seconds (and maybe more?!) look like?

I'm gonna be honest, in the 4.5 years I've been doing this I've never been so slow with work! And it makes me sad because
A. I love this work
B. Parents deserve to be cared for
C. How many people out there are in need of an ally, a companion, a cheerleader, a house manager and more?

Don't be shy! If you need a calm presence, reassurance, an empathetic ear, a warm and friendly human being to talk to, cry with or ask questions, then look no further!!

I will help you list that weight off your shoulders, you will be rested and a bada** parent ready to rock your day!

DM me or use the link in the bio to connect NOW!

One of my favorite parts of my holiday break was how my sister-in-law cared for me. I got to sleep until 1030 and then had a lovely breakfast of:

🫐 Yogurt with blueberries and almonds with cinnamon

And

🍅 Mary's gone crackers with cream cheese, salmon and tomato

Grateful for family that understands this mom needs to be cared for, too!

🫒 If you need some love and pampering and support of your nervous system, I have meal prep, doula support, aromatherapy and Reiki this month and February still! I'd love to help you in your healing journey prenatally or postnatally.

🛣️ I serve ~30-mile radius from Kirkland, or further for an additional travel fee.

🧘🏽‍♀️ Also, I still have openings in my Barre and Pound (cardio drumming) classes with NKCC on Friday and Saturday mornings or Monday evenings if you're looking to move, build connection, and focus on pelvic health. Welcome to a new year and fresh starts!

If these past few weeks (or more) were a bit challenging, or even if they went smoothly, I wanted to share making an aromatherapy inhaler to help with the post holiday/activities/break/feels.

Inhalers are a great way to get the benefits of plant medicine, but not have the scent around all the time. For example, if you're around little ones, pets, or a fragrance free environment you can use them quickly and quietly. They're great for supporting mood, mental, and emotional well being and so much more.

The blend includes a variety of oils that are earthy, yet a bit sweet and may help to:
Ground, yet energize, may support the immune system and respiratory tract all in one little tube.

🌿 It includes

2 drops of cinnamon leaf

2 drops of eucalyptus dives

3 drops of sweet marjoram

6 drops of black spruce

7 drops of sweet orange

All mixed into a wick that can be stored inside the inhaler tube. The one I'm using here is a personal, reusable tube that has a glass vial you can clean and reuse with different blends

🌿to use:

Gently close one nostril and inhale for a couple breaths

Close the other nostril and inhale for another couple breaths

Repeat 2-3x and about every couple hours if needed.

🌿 If you'd like to work with a Certified Aromatherapist for a custom blend, inhaler, and/or Aromapoint Therapy, use the link in the bio to connect with me and schedule a consultation.

**This does not constitute medical advice and always see a healthcare professional before beginning something new. This does not treat, prescribe, diagnose or cure. Keep away from heat, flame, light, children and pets. Keep tube tightly closed to avoid oxidation and loss of scent.**

We're juggling all the things

We're carrying the mental load

We're running from appointments, school, activities, work, and beyond.

Take a breath! This breath is for you! Enjoy the pause, or maybe 2, or 3+

Thinking of you. We all need that reminder once in a while, so take this breath of self care.

And if you want more self love and care, check out my classes with Kirkland Parks and Rec or my other wellness services and care. See the link in my bio

Networking is so important in the birth world because we need all the resources and support we can get. But there's so much out there and not every family needs to know it all, but you also don't want to be googling a provider and vetting them when you're in the thick of it.

I love connecting with others in the birth space to learn what they do, get a vibe of who they are, who they serve, so I can offer the best information for the families I work with and take away some of that mental load.

This past week I had the honor of meeting with:

*Amanda in Snohomish who is a RN and IBCLC with an awesome new space in Snohomish for office visits, retail, and more great services coming soon. Check them out to learn about their new non-profit as well, a collaboration with some other amazing perinatal providers.

**Susan of Mother Trees who is also an IBCLC and RN in Newcastle and also provides craniosacral therapy. Her work is so lovely and calming.

***Dr. Aerin Sembhi of has a space in Ballard offering integrative care for women's health, especially in the postpartum period with a focus on so many lifestyle and wellness pieces.

If you're in need of these services, I hope you get the opportunity to learn more about them and work with them in the near future.

Health and Wellness for all,
Stephanie

I really needed some quiet and I'm grateful to my spouse for understanding and letting me hide, I mean eat dinner in peace and quiet, away from the WWF session that is about to begin with my children (in good fun). Going to take a moment to do my sound bowl and smell a favorite pill to recenter me as well.

If you're needing some you-time, me-time, quiet time, alone time, naps, I have openings for daytime postpartum doula services to help you around the home and with your little(s) so you can get the rest and support you deserve! If you need some grounding and emotional support I also have aromatherapy And reiki sessions available. Serving about 30-miles from Kirkland

I love my clients and it's so sweet and generous when they offer me cards (sometimes even gifts), kind words, and lovely testimonials. Sharing a couple examples, especially by my buddies. Part of my postpartum duties is caring for the siblings so you can rest, eat, shower, etc.

I love the garden (appropriate as I love flowers and Aromatherapy!) and the portrait of me, a striking resemblance!
