Yep! There is NO SUCH THING as added hormones in steroids in pork or poultry production.

When you see a label that says, “No added hormones and steroids*” read the asterisks and fine print:

*federal law strictly prohibits the use of hormones or steroids in poultry

IT DOESN‘T EVEN EXIST!

Food companies use meaningless and misleading labels to try and charge more money. Don’t fall for it!

Time to rethink Paleo and Keto diets in favor of over-all health. Avoiding grains may cause changes in the gut microbiome than increase the risk of heart disease.

The conclusion of the original research referred to in this article states
"Although the Paleo Diet is promoted for improved gut health, results indicate long-term adherence is associated with different gut microbiota and increased TMAO [gut-derived metabolite associated with cardiovascular disease]. A variety of fiber components, including whole grain sources may be required to maintain gut and cardiovascular health."
