๐ŸŸ Residents, family members and staff celebrated Salmon Days at Life Care! Crafts included filling plastic apples with all kinds of treats, plus stamping tote bags and travel bags with real apples and fruit. ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ We ate salmon and clam chowder from Ivar's Restaurants plus salad and cheddar biscuits.

We enjoyed a Scottish bagpiper ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ and the music of the Meg McLynn Duo. We had crafts, food and musical entertainment, so basically, it was the perfect event! ๐Ÿ˜

Today kicks off National Rehabilitation Awareness Week (Sept. 15-21) 2025! ๐ŸŽ‰

In addition to our skilled nursing and long-term care services, each Life Care Centers of America facility also offers on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Over the years, our therapy teams across the nation have helped thousands of seniors improve function and mobility.

Aloha! ๐Ÿ๏ธ We had a wonderful tropical luncheon. After sailing to the tropics, we put on our sunglasses and leis and enjoyed virgin piรฑa coladas. ๐Ÿ˜Ž Lunch was ham, fried rice, sautรฉed vegetables and pineapple upside down cake. ๐Ÿ Oh, and we loved the live music from the Eric Verlinde Trio.

We had an amazing celebration of the classic "Blues Brothers" movie with a lunch of barbecue chicken, corn on the cob, and watermelon! ๐Ÿ—๐ŸŒฝ๐Ÿ‰

We gave away free hats, sunglasses, blue ice cream soda and blueberry muffins! ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿซ We totally rocked out to the blues with the Mary McPage band, Pie Eyed and Monkeyfied!
