🗼Life Care Center of Kirkland celebrated April in Paris with a special roast beef lunch and the piano music of Clayton Murray. Janet Rayor and her French musette trio, Rouge, played music in the afternoon 🎵, and family members joined in the dancing. We closed the day with a macaroon and Parisian cake cart. Bon Jour! 🇫🇷

Did you know that about 1.1 million people in the United States are living with Parkinson's disease (PD)? 🌷

🧠 This progressive brain disorder is perhaps most well known for causing tremors, but other symptoms include loss of vocal volume, sleep disruptions, stiffness, and balance issues, among others.

Thankfully, there are ways to improve Parkinson's symptoms! 😀 Our therapy team offers rehabilitation services to help improve mobility, range of motion, function, and speech for those living with PD. Call us to see how we can support you or your loved one.

Easter Week was egg-stra special at Life Care Center of Kirkland! 🐰🌷

Our friends from Regency Newcastle, Interim HealthCare of Bellevue WA, and Continuum Care Hospice- Washington treated us to a gourmet coffee bar ☕, and residents got creative coloring eggs and crafting their own Easter baskets. 🐇 The Easter Bunny hopped in for a visit, spreading smiles and delivering treats, while everyone enjoyed a delicious dessert cake buffet. 🎂

Thank you to our partners and everyone who made this week so memorable! Wishing all our residents, families, and staff a joyful spring season!

☘️ We celebrated St. Patrick's Day here at Life Care Center of Kirkland with a special corned beef and cabbage lunch for our residents, featuring a non-alcoholic beer cart and harpist Robin DeLanoy! 🎶 Everyone got Shamrock baseball hats and guessed the number of cheese balls in the jar for a chance to win a Starbucks gift card. In the late afternoon, the Haggis Brothers performed all our Irish favorites and brought the house down. 🤩
