Send this to your safe person ♥️

Safe people encourage us, see the best in us, and leave us feeling refueled instead of depleted.

If you can’t think of any friends who do this for you, try being this friend to others. You have the power to BE a safe friend! In return, you might end up finding safe friends for yourself.

About 1 in 4 adults in their 40s are experiencing singleness. If Valentine’s Day makes you feel “behind” in life, you are not alone–and you cannot be late to your own life.

Even if your life doesn’t look like how you hoped it would right now, remember that your worth has not changed. You are loved. You are deeply valued.

Allow yourself to be present with whatever comes up. Grief, growth, and hope can all coexist at once.

The more we practice gratitude, the less space there is for anxiety, bitterness, envy, or discontentment to grow in our hearts.

You can begin to experience that freedom today by choosing one of the exercises above to implement in your daily routine. Each of these practices takes less than 5 minutes but can change your perspective for the entire day. Once you start, remember to stay consistent! The key to gratitude is consistency, acknowledging that there is something good in every day.

Let’s practice together! Comment below–what are you grateful for today?

And what do you want to carry with you going forward? Gratitude, intentional conversations, a slower pace, or deeper contentment?

Happy new year!

As everyone chooses their “word of the year” and sets new resolutions, this is also a meaningful time to reconnect with our values. Our core values help guide our lives and ground us, especially when things feel stressful or uncertain.

Identifying and remembering our values can give us a clearer sense of purpose and a framework for how to think, respond, and act. What are some values you want to live by this year?
