Double-tap if you want to do this more often! 🌸

Each person has their own unique talents and giftings! No, you might not have the same as the person next to you, but that’s the whole point. We were all blessed with different abilities that we excel at. When we actually use these abilities is when we can help make the world a better place and help those around us!

Have you discovered what your giftings are? Are you stewarding them to the best of your ability?

Rest does not need to be earned.

We must be rested in order to work well; we don’t need to work to earn our rest.

For some, this might look like getting that extra hour of sleep you need, waking up with enough time to have a slow, restful morning, or taking a full day on the weekend dedicated to rest before the start of a busy week.

Whatever rest looks like for you, remember to make it a priority. Rest doesn’t need to be a reward, it can be the driving force that fuels your day.

Do you ever feel like everyone’s eyes are on you?

Maybe you think others are judging you, watching your every move, or noticing all the little (good or bad) things that you are doing.

If this is you, then this phenomenon might be a relief: the spotlight effect. The spotlight effect is the psychological phenomenon in which individuals overestimate how much others are noticing or judging them. In reality, people are paying attention to themselves and are very rarely studying your every move.

Save this for the next time you’re in a social situation, and let your knowledge of the spotlight effect give you the freedom to be yourself without fear of judgment from others. Take a deep breath–you are not in the spotlight!

Curiosity opens the door to a deeper connection. It invites you to discover things you might never learn otherwise—and to stay engaged when others tune out.

With a curious heart, you might discover that your neighbor has just welcomed a new grandchild, your cashier is ranked #1 in the state for high jump, or your friend is quietly wrestling with deep-seated insecurity.

As you move through your day, choose curiosity. Listen with intention. Let what you learn shape the way you love, understand, and live.

Everyone can benefit from a walk!

Walking provides many physical and mental health benefits, including:
🥾Reducing the risk of heart disease
🥾Releasing endorphins
🥾Improving your immune system
🥾Easing joint pain
🥾Improving balance, coordination, memory, and sleep

Walking at least 30 minutes every day is the most effective way to experience its benefits. Of course, you can always start lower and work up to this goal if needed! If you want to start walking more, put a walking emoji in the comments so we can know that we are all in this together!

We can learn the biggest lessons from the littlest people in our lives.

Kids have a new and exciting view of the world, and can remind us of the simple beauty that we often overlook. When we start to look at life through the eyes of a child, we might realize that we are not much different than them: ambitious, creative, joyful, loved, and unable to do life on our own!

What is something your kids have taught you? Comment below!

Content warning: This post discusses sexual assault. Resources are provided below. Please take care as you read.

Sexual assault is far more common than many realize. In the U.S., 81% of women and 43% of men have experienced some form of sexual assault or harassment in their lifetime (National Sexual Violence Resource Center).

If you’re a survivor: what happened to you is not your fault. You are not alone, and there is no shame in your story. Your voice matters. Whether you choose to share or simply take steps to heal quietly, your journey is valid and worthy of compassion. You deserve support, healing, and peace — at your own pace, in your own time.

If you’re a friend or loved one: your support might be the thing that helps someone begin to heal. Listening without judgment. Believing them. Holding space. These small actions can matter more than you know.

🧡 We’ve gathered local counseling and support resources in our latest blog post (link in bio) and in our story highlights. Please don’t hesitate to reach out — support is here when you’re ready.
You are not alone. Your story matters. And healing is possible.

If you are a dark chocolate lover, then you are in for an extra sweet treat!

Dark chocolate is more than just beneficial for your taste buds, but it is beneficial both physically and mentally! The higher percentage of dark chocolate, the more cocoa solids in the chocolate, and the better it is for you. If you are a woman on your period, dark chocolate can even help relieve your cramps due to its high magnesium content. Next time you are feeling down, have a couple squares of dark chocolate to make you feel better!

Do you struggle with focus, memory, ADHD, fatigue, or brain-generated pain?

Neurofeedback might be an incredible treatment option for you!

Neurofeedback is a specific and patented type of biofeedback for the brain. The LENS system monitors brainwave activity in real time and then gives feedback to the brain, interrupting maladaptive brainwave patterns and allowing the brain to reset and regulate itself in a more healthy way. It is natural and brings balance to the brain by helping the brain decrease or increase fast and slow brain waves that may interfere with performance.

By promoting better self-regulation, LENS Neurofeedback helps the brain operate more efficiently, supporting improved cognitive, emotional, and physical functioning. Clients treated with LENS generally experience increased benefits across the mental spectrum.

Neurofeedback can treat:
🧠 ADHD
🧠 Cognition problems
🧠 Moods like anger, sadness, explosiveness
🧠 Motor problems
🧠 Lack of motivation
🧠 Anxiety
🧠 Reactivity
🧠 Pain
🧠 Addictions/Dependencies
🧠 Fatigue
🧠 Performance Optimization
