Volunteers with Hospice of Northeast Missouri provide indirect care or direct care to our patients. Volunteers are caring, dedicated, helpful, giving, kind and selfless.

๐Ÿ’œ Indirect care volunteers spend their time at administrative office assisting with letters, mailings, answering phones and filing.

๐Ÿ’œ Direct care volunteers offer companionship to patients at end of life; they read, listen to music, play games and tell stories to brighten their days. They do not need any medical training or certifications as they do not provide medical care to patients.

When you help someone, you make them feel good and you make yourself feel even better. If you are interested in engaging with others and looking for an invaluable experience - sign up to volunteer today.

If you would like to learn how to become a volunteer with Hospice of Northeast Missouri please visit our website at hospiceofnortheastmissouri.org, call the office at 660-627-9711 or email Lisa Bunch at lbunch@hospiceofnortheastmissouri.org.
