Entry Deadline Oct. 1, 2025

The Foundation for Osteopathic Dermatology is pleased to announce an opportunity for AOCD members who are 3rd or 4th year medical students, the Ulbrich Circle Student Clinical Manuscript Competition.

A similar competition has been open to resident members for many years, and we’re pleased to offer this competition to give our student members the opportunity showcase their knowledge, talent and abilities.
The annual awards are presented to recognize the dermatology students’ manuscripts which are judged as the best in this competition for originality, degree of scientific contribution and thoughtfulness of presentation. The requirements for the competition are as follows.

Requirements for competition:
1. The applicant must be a 3rd or 4th year medical student and an AOCD member in good standing with their DUES paid in full. If their dues have NOT been paid, the manuscript submitted will not be considered.
2. First place winners will be required to attend the conference to accept the award and give a 15-minute presentation on their topic.
3. Complete the linked cover sheet.
4. Please submit 3 paper copies of the manuscript to be judged.
5. Only ONE manuscript per year may be submitted.
