This week, Chapter President Ashley and NLO Sydney traveled to Washington DC for DO Day on the Hill and the National SOMA Spring Convention.

At DO Day, our chapter leaders were able to sit down with Missouri members of Congress to discuss co-sponsoring important legislation that would increase access to quality patient care.

During Spring Convention, they were delegates representing the KCOM Chapter, voting on national policy with the goal of advocating for osteopathic medical students, their education, and their future patients. One of the policies they wrote was even approved!

Help us support the victims of COVID-19! During the month of May, SOMA is joining other student organizations to raise funds for the CDC Foundation.
