Good morning everyone, due to a sudden spinal injury I will be closing my schedule and rescheduling any existing appointments through the end of May to rest and follow up my CT scan with an MRI and see if this is something I can heal with physical therapy or if more is needed. This is an existing condition that unfortunately I am forced to deal with whenever my L5 dislocates. I absolutely hate rescheduling clients and I truly apologize for the inconvenience. Anyone with disc issues knows how sudden and debilitating it can be. I’m hoping for a speedy recovery and to be back to my regular schedule soon. Thank you all so much for the support and understanding.

Please be aware the city of Kirksville will be digging up Illinois street and fixing water line on the corner of Illinois and Elson next to Mystic Meadows Yoga studio starting today. This project may take up to a month and may cause some disturbance to the quiet atmosphere of the office. We are so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause!

The face behind Signature Massage Therapy

Hi everyone I’m Christyna Mills, born and raised in Kirksville Missouri and your licensed massage therapist here at Signature Massage!

I’ve been a licensed massage therapist for 16 years with certifications in deep tissue for relaxation, advanced prenatal massage, Reflexology, Dynamic Cupping, massage techniques for TMD, headaches, arthritis, lower back pain and so much more.

My passion and goal is to create the most relaxing environment for my clients, tending to small details that make a big difference in your experience, along with bringing knowledge and confidence into your session to achieve your treatment goals.

When I’m not in the office you can find me with my friends and family, in my garden or in the kitchen. I love traveling, dancing, cooking and practicing self care like getting facials and massages.

I love everything about my career from the flexibility, learning new skills and the ability to help people in a meaningful way.

💆‍♀️What is a headache relief massage?💆‍♂️

A massage focusing on head, face, neck and shoulders while incorporating steamed towels, hot/cold stones and trigger point therapy to relieve headache pain.

✅ A headache relief massage is most suitable for

•Tension headaches (headaches due to stress, neck tension, poor posture, lack of sleep etc.)
•Sinus headaches (headaches caused by allergies, inflammation or pressure in sinus cavities)
• Pre and post migraine pain
• Neck or occipital pain

🚫 Headache relief massage is NOT suitable for

•Migraines at their peak
•Caffeine withdrawal or dehydration headaches
•Exertional headaches (headaches caused from strenuous activities)
•Headaches with dizziness, fever, nausea, visual changes or high blood pressure
•Headaches after any injury
•Sudden extreme headaches
