Savannah has spent nearly 2 decades working in women's health, reproductive health & various medical settings: inpatient, outpatient & emergency care. She found her path & began her career during undergrad as a hotline volunteer for women experiencing partner violence in northern Missouri. After a move to New York City she obtained her MSW & worked with women & q***r survivors of violence for nearly a decade. She then transitioned to reproductive health & justice work: holding positions at Planned Parenthood of New York City & eventually back home in St. Louis with the Perinatal Behavioral Health Service at WashU & serving on the Board of Directors for the Missouri Abortion Fund. Savannah became a Social Worker because she's always envisioned a more just world & questioned how things can be changed for the benefit of folks who are intentionally disenfranchised by our systems. She became a therapist because throughout her career, no matter the scope or scale of the endeavor, it is always first through individual connection that we co-create meaningful change. This is the work she does with her clients.

Healing Mixer is happening next week! Meet one of our speakers—Stacy!

Stacy McCann is a licensed clinical social worker and therapist in Edwardsville, Illinois. She owns Present Moment Counseling Services, where she specializes in maternal overwhelm, the mental load, overstimulation and burnout in motherhood, and perinatal mental health.

She sees mothers virtually in Missouri and Illinois, and in person in Edwardsville. She received intensive perinatal training from Postpartum Support International, and is a certified Fair Play Method facilitator.

Stacy also provides attachment-focused parent coaching services after almost 15 years experience working with families of young children; she is intensively trained in Circle of Security, an attachment-based parenting methodology.

Outside of her work, Stacy enjoys time with her daughter and husband: traveling, cooking, gardening, and writing on her Substack - Supermom Dropout Club.

The mixer is 2 weeks away! Meet one of our speakers—Lisa!

Lisa Mottola Ernst, LCSW is owner of Trinity STL Counseling located in Sunset Hills, MO. Her work primarily focuses on adults and children experiencing grief, anxiety, life transitions, and those affected by cancer.

Prior to entering private practice, she worked as a pediatric medical social worker at St. Louis Children’s Hospital for nearly 20 years, lead a local grief support group agency called Kids’ Clubhouse and worked in a group practice locally.

Lisa is passionate about helping people feel heard in their grief and supporting them in their healing path. In this past year, Lisa has added the treatment model EMDR to her practice.
