Mohammad Khan, MD, is a highly skilled internist who provides exceptional medical care for patients as medical director of Yusra Medical Associates in Kissimmee, Florida. Dr. Khan studied for his medical degree at Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, graduating in 1989. He completed an internship in general surgery at Civil Hospital Karachi before taking up a residency position at Emergency Medical Center, also in Karachi. In 1992, Dr. Khan moved to New York and began a residency in internal medicine at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center. After practicing medicine in several of the top 100 hospitals across the United States over the past 25 years, Dr. Khan gained invaluable experience across a broad spectrum of health care specialties. He is currently the medical director of Yusra Medical Associates, specializing in minor to complex medical conditions of adults. As a board-certified physician in internal medicine, Dr. Khan has vast experience in a number of diverse medical conditions. He is involved with a number of clinical studies that aim to help improve the lives of patients who have chronic illnesses. He currently holds admitting privileges at Osceola Regional Medical Center in Kissimmee and AdventHealth Celebration in Central Florida. Dr. Khan is a respected member of the local and wider medical communities, and has associations with the American College of Physicians and the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Khan comes from a family of physicians, which generated his own interest in medicine and inspired him to become a doctor. He is a family-oriented person who enjoys serving humanity, and he conveys that in his medical practice. When he’s not spending time helping his patients or visiting them in the hospital, Dr. Khan enjoys spending time with his wife of more than 20 years and his four lovely children.
