🎉🎉 Welcome Dr. Udeh! 🎉🎉
Adanna Udeh, M.D., grew up in Connecticut with her three other siblings and had a passion for music and singing. She became a semi-professional singer, mostly singing at large sporting events from high school into medical school. It was in medical school that she developed a personal interest in ophthalmology, after her grandfather went blind from glaucoma. That interest only grew over the next year as she joined a research program at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, focusing on optic nerve regrowth and rehabilitation.
Dr. Udeh continued her education by completing her ophthalmic residency program at New York University, where she served as the chief resident. Most recently she went through and completed a cornea, external disease and refractive fellowship at the Cole Eye Institute in Cleveland Ohio. She has a special interest in refractive surgery and is eager to bring several new service lines, such as LASIK, Photorefractive Keratectomy (PRK), Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE), Clear Lens Exchange (CLE) and Implantable Contact Lenses (ICL) to Magruder Eye Institute.
One of Dr. Udeh’s most notable qualities is her patient-first approach. She believes in taking the time to get to know her patients and creating genuine connections to best suggest a plan of action for their care. Her charismatic and empathetic approach puts patients at ease, making them feel not only comfortable, but also confident in their treatment journey.
In her time, she enjoys exercising, spending time with her 11-year-old black lab and fiancé, and exploring new and unique restaurants around Orlando.
