Meet Chelsea Nelson!
Chelsea came to Encompass Health Kissimmee after a car accident that left her with multiple injuries that limited her ability to walk or perform daily self‑care tasks. Throughout her recovery, she kept one goal in mind: to walk again and return to the activities she loves.

With the support of her care team, Chelsea progressed from sitting to walking with the assistance of a walker. We are so proud of you, Chelsea.

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Kissimmee recently celebrated National Rehabilitation Awareness Week with a full week of fun and appreciation for our incredible staff. Events included a coffee bar, tailgate party, tacky tourist day, smoothie and snow cone trucks, and much more.

Staff enjoyed participating in friendly competitions, playing games, and winning prizes throughout the week. It was a joyful way to recognize the dedication and teamwork that make our hospital special.

Our team prioritizes patient care and supports patients in reaching their rehabilitation goals every day. We are grateful for each staff member who helps make that possible. Thank you for all you do!
