A proud Nana to three grandchildren and one great-grandchild, she loves dancing, singing, and cooking for her family when she’s not caring for our residents. We are so grateful for the passion and dedication she brings to our Harborview family!

Resident Victor Aldea enjoyed a joyful visit from his loving family, his wife Maria, son Marcos, daughter‑in‑law Ymanarie, and little Aiden. Married for 53 years and blessed with eight great‑grandchildren, Victor’s family is truly his pride and joy.

During the visit, Victor couldn’t help but smile as he held Aiden tightly and playfully “rode him around.” He shared, “Aiden is full of energy… he’s one of my bundles of joy.” 💙

These are the moments that brighten our halls and fill our hearts.

Ash Wednesday at Harborview Kissimmee!

Last week Holy Redeemer Catholic Parish member Josie Lacsanana had the profound honor of imposing ashes for our faithful residents and staff at Harborview Kissimmee.

Josie shared that it was difficult to put into words the depth of the experience. What may appear, from the outside, as a simple gesture—the tracing of a cross in ash upon the forehead—felt instead like standing on holy ground.

A beautiful beginning to the Lenten season for our community. 🙏🏼💙

Samuel Williams arrived at Harborview Kissimmee feeling unmotivated and relying on staff for his daily activities. With the care, encouragement, and support of our dedicated team, Samuel is now returning home walking independently and full of confidence.

Samuel shared, “I enjoyed being cared for by such devoted and dedicated staff. If I ever need to, I will definitely come back to Harborview Kissimmee. I consider you all family.”

Thank you, Samuel, for allowing us to be a part of your journey. We are so proud of your progress! 💙

I Went Home Today!🤍✨

Please join us in congratulating Haydee Flores on her incredible journey and well-earned return home!

In April 2024, Haydee Flores arrived at Harborview Kissimmee on a stretcher, fully dependent on staff for her daily care and transfers. Through months of determination, rehabilitation, and the unwavering support of our compassionate team, she grew stronger each day.

Today, Haydee is returning to her community walking independently, motivated, and full of joy. She shared that our staff became like family throughout her stay and that she especially loved the self-driven canvas painting classes with friends.

As Haydee beautifully said, “I leave with a joyful heart.”

We are so proud of you, Haydee! 💐 Your strength inspires us all.

I went home today! 💙

"I'm going home!" were Roger’s joyful words this week. Roger has been a resident with us since 2022, arriving non‑ambulatory and requiring total assistance with daily care.
Through determination, hard work, and the support of our dedicated Harborview Kissimmee team, Roger proudly shared, “I won this battle.”

Today, he walks out our doors stronger, hopeful, and excited to return home. Roger also told us, “If I ever need skilled nursing again, I’ll come back to Harborview Kissimmee!”
We’re honored to be part of his journey. Congratulations Roger, you inspire us all! 💙
