Gentiva Hospice Kissimmee Kicks Off 21st Annual Food Drive to Support Help Now of Osceola Inc.

WHAT:
Gentiva Hospice Kissimmee is proud to launch its 21st Annual Food Drive on September 1, continuing its commitment to fight food insecurity in the communities we serve. Last year, the campaign provided more than one million meals—a milestone we aim to match again this year. We invite community members to join us by donating non-perishable food items or making monetary contributions to support local hunger relief efforts.

WHY:
Hunger remains a pressing issue across the country. According to Feeding America, nearly 12 million seniors and older adults experience food insecurity. For older adults, food insecurity can severely impact health, exacerbating chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart disease. As an organization dedicated to serving seniors, Gentiva Hospice Kissimmee is committed to helping ensure that no one in our community goes without this most basic, nutritious food.

HOW TO HELP:
Throughout September, Gentiva Hospice Kissimmee will be collecting both food and financial donations to benefit Help Now of Osceola Inc.

• Food donations can be dropped off at 222 Broadway Avenue, Suite 212, Kissimmee, FL 34741.
• Monetary contributions can be made online at helpnowshelter.org.

Together, we can reach our goal of providing one million meals and make a lasting impact in our community.
