Move Unbound we are a growing team built around the idea that exploring ones health and movement is a natural process that should lead to an unbound life experience

"Change is inevitable, growth is optional." We are growing! Simplify Fitness is an idea, one that will still be present in the teachings presented through our group but with the change, we are working toward something more wide reaching. We are building a community, starting here in the Outer Banks, that is interested in healthy living practices as well as playful, natural, and practical exercise

that happens outside of the traditional fitness industry paradigm. Video, a facility, and pocket training manuals all coming soon!! Be a part of the shift!!!

Maintenance vs. Growth
One of the most attractive parts to me (and dare I say all of my tribe's) about the process is the interactive drills. There are many and we practiced them often. From the benefits of a partner giving feedback about your body lines through contact, to the chaotic conditions of resisted crawl, to the reactivity of the staff drop, our practice involves an important social aspect. When working with a partner we learn about them, their history, their limitations, and subsequently aid in easing of those limits through an objective perspective. We believe in the potential in all who are willing to work hard and face the truths about themselves.

Recently we have been forced to break these close bonds and it may be difficult to continue growth as a mover in the void. We have done our best to stay connected and remain supportive and inspiring to each other but the fact is that it simply lacks the feel of the group practice. There is an undeniable energy in the room that (I) we miss very much.

If you are maintaining your then kudos! This though is a call to set some new goals. Target the weak spots in your practice, do the 'boring' fundamentals and prep, refine your patterns, create, fail and continue, take care of yourself. We need to bring back a tale of perseverance, enjoyment, and discipline to share.
