We know what it means to feel over-extended, to be raising a family, running a household, managing a career (and all simultaneously). Yoga philosophy reminds us that love isn’t just a feeling… it’s a way of seeing. A way of noticing beauty in the ordinary, offering kindness and remembering that every heart is part of one big, breathing whole.

3 soul-stirring days in Rishikesh
From the serenity of Vashishta’s Cave, and the holy Ganges to the divine energy of Neelkanth Temple, every step was an awakening.
We stood in awe at the Ganga Aarti and found stillness at Anand Prakash Ashram.
Our yoga practice carried the theme Aham Prema-I am love, reminding us that love is not just something we seek, it’s who we are.
The private puja ceremony honoring Lord Shiva was a sacred moment that deepened this truth, leaving us humbled and grateful.
Rishikesh, you gave us more than memories… you gave us a mirror to our hearts. 💕 🕉️

We’re adding something special to our Saturday afternoon. Sierra Williams, one of our newest YTT graduates, is offering a free Karma Yoga class — a gentle, grounding way to flow through the weekend.

If you’d like to support Sierra and lift up our wider community, we’ll be collecting donations for Sea Change, a local grassroots nonprofit offering free English classes and support to our Latino neighbors.

We’ve arrived. After long journeys across time zones and airports, our group has gathered in Delhi.
We stepped into India gently, beginning with a half day wander through the city’s history, devotion and vibrant everyday life. From the city’s powerful landmarks to the generosity of the Langar Kitchen at Bangla Sahib to the color and chaos of the spice market… and ending the day with laughter and reconnection at our welcome dinner.
Today was our soft landing, our first exhale, our reminder why we travel together.
The journey has officially begun…

As part of the Thrive OBX initiative, we’re opening our doors on four consecutive Sunday evenings for simple, soulful yoga designed to help you unwind, reconnect, and feel supported as we move through the winter season.

These classes are for everyone — longtime students, brand‑new beginners, and anyone who could use an hour of breath, movement, and connection.

At Outer Banks Yoga, we believe that joy is productive — and no one brings that spirit to life quite like . (Fun fact: this quirky holiday actually originated in the ’90s by folks who thought work should include more fun to boost morale and counter workplace stress.)

Julia’s Vinyasa Playground class is where curiosity, creativity, and a little bit of upside‑down courage come together. Julia has a gift for celebrating everyone’s wins — the big breakthroughs and the tiny, joyful wobbles alike.
It’s a mid‑week permission slip to explore, wobble, laugh and surprise yourself— a reminder that movement can be both meaningful and fun. 🤸‍♂️

We’re kicking off February with something sweet — a free yoga class led by our newest YTT graduate, Sierra Williams. Think of it as an early‑evening reset with good people, good energy, and a chance to support a good cause.

Donations accepted for Sea Change, a grassroots nonprofit uplifting the local Latino community through free English classes, advocacy, and connection.

Come move, breathe, and share space with us as we celebrate Sierra and extend support to an organization doing meaningful work right here at home.
All are welcome.
All levels encouraged.
Community energy always appreciated.
