Juggernaut…..
according to Webster’s Dictionary:
A juggernaut is “a massive unrelentless force or movement or object or person -that crushes whatever is in its path.”

Don’t worry….that’s a good thing!

Anyway…once you listen to this podcast…you’ll understand why I bring that up.

I was recently honored to be this week’s guest on the local “KPD 10-43” weekly podcast hosted by Knightstown Police Department’s Chief Frank Beatrice & Sgt John Davis on our local radio station, WKPW-FM. You can listen to this podcast episode by clicking on the link below.

I had a great time being interviewed by Frank & John. It was a very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Kudos to Mike York & staff on the editing and production. Mike made us sound really good! lol

The “KPD 10-43” weekly podcast hosted by Chief Beatrice & Sgt Davis covers a lot of different community concerns, events, and safety topics. In a relaxed conversational style format, the guys are able to be both entertaining & informative.

The guys gave me the chance to talk about my roles in the community and some past history. We delved into my role on the Knightstown Town Council and my efforts (along with 6 other dedicated and passionate volunteers) to get the Southern Henry Ambulance Service up and running.
I discuss how YOU, the listener, can assist us in that effort too!

I want to thank Frank & John again for this opportunity. I truly appreciate their support…and all of us at Southern Henry are extremely grateful for their continued support of our ongoing efforts.

I also want to thank Mike York and the staff of WKPW & the Charles A. Beard Memorial Schools system for making this podcast possible. Our community is extremely lucky to have this state of the art radio station located here….and we are blessed that it exists to also train & educate our youth in this media field.

These podcasts not only discuss law enforcement issues in our community…but other valuable discussions concerning our schools, public safety and events/issues in our community.

In this week’s podcast, the hosts prominently feature a discussion of Southern Henry Ambulance Service…and their continued work on getting it up and running. Frank & John mention our three major needs: a “home base”, more volunteers…and donations.
Besides Kevin Richey and Donna Bohnert, who are mentioned in this discussion, we’d like to also recognize and thank our four other equally important volunteer crew members on the ambulance service:
Brian Calaski, Ryan Hood, Wendy Fuller, and Desiree Payton. These outstanding local folks are dedicated to bringing back a local ambulance service to Knightstown.

Come meet the people that are working hard to get an ambulance service back in Knightstown. Come on down and give them your support.

Southern Henry Ambulance Service has been busy working hard “behind the scenes” these past few months as we move forward to make this ambulance service a reality for the Knightstown area.
And….our hard work has been paying off!!
We have some EXCITING NEWS….that we can’t quite YET announce….but boy….is it a great one! A major hurdle has been vanquished!
Sorry for the “crickets” lately…..but soon…we’ll be able to announce a major accomplishment in our efforts. We can hardly wait to share it with you within the next few weeks. STAY TUNED!!
