Recently, our very own Wesley Brookshear, from the AMR Knox County operation, was presented with the South Region Presidential Leadership Coin in recognition of his exceptional leadership in Knoxville and the surrounding area. This award is designated for an individual who demonstrates exceptional leadership above and beyond their normal duties. Fireworks are a staple of summer celebrations, but it's crucial to handle them responsibly to avoid injury or fire. Keep these safety tips in mind for a fun and accident-free experience:
- Follow all instructions and warning labels on the packaging
- Keep a bucket of water or a hose nearby in case of fire
- Always wear protective eyewear when igniting fireworks
- Never light fireworks while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Ignite only one firework at a time and never try to relight a "dud"
- Always keep fireworks away from children and pets
