šŸ‘‹ Hello my funeral service friends! This is just a friendly reminder that on Monday, April 17, 2023, 6:30pm, at Sullivan’s Fine Food on Northshore Drive, we will be having our 2nd meeting of the year.

Our friends at Narrow Ridge Earth Literacy Center will be speaking about the rising trend of green burials and their green burial cemetery!

This program will also be worth 3ļøāƒ£ credit hours of continuing education to all Tennessee licensed Funeral Directors and Embalmers!

We, as the Board of The Greater Knoxville Funeral Service Associates would like to formally congratulate our fellow board member, vice-president, but most importantly, friend, Dylan Karnes.
Dylan is officially a licensed Tennessee Funeral Director and Embalmer.

Joe has a funeral service history that spans from the Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky to the wide open valley of Eastern Tennessee.
Funeral service has been his life’s calling and he has proudly served in it in some form or fashion most of his life.
Joe owns and operates Mountain Mortuary Partners Inc. which serves funeral homes across the region in funeral and mortuary type services.

Mike has been in funeral service for over 30 years. During that time, he has held many positions with the latest being the owner and operator of Feezell Funeral Supplies Inc. of Maryville TN offering both burial vaults and embalming services.
Mike’s funeral service career spans from Manchester to Savannah as a funeral director/embalmer and then as a vault salesman for Clark Grave Vault Company.

The Greater Knoxville Funeral Service Associates would like to recognize our acting president for the 2023 year, Ashley Howe.
Ashley has been in funeral service for several years now. She earned her Associate of Applied Science in Funeral Service degree in 2017. Since then she has become the manger of Gentry-Griffey Funeral Chapel and Crematory in Knoxville, TN.

When you’re feeling overwhelmed by grief, you need someone by your side who is compassionate and knowledgeable about the funeral planning process. Ashley Howe is here to help!

As a licensed funeral director, embalmer, and crematory operator, Ashley has served families in need in East Tennessee since 2017. With 5 years of on-the-job experience as well as a degree from the Mortuary Sciences Program at Piedmont Technical College, she is well-equipped to guide you through each and every step with ease.

Ashley lives in Powell with her husband, Justin, and their children, Declan, Ebin, and Nellie, and her beloved animals. When she's not helping her families, Ashley is an outdoor enthusiast who can often be found hiking, camping, or otherwise exploring Tennessee’s natural beauty.
