Blooming Into New Life

Cheli’s Corner Spring Devotional

Scripture Foundation (AMP)

Song of Solomon 2:12
“The flowers have already appeared in the land;
The time for singing [birds] has come,
And the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.”

Joyful Reflection

Spring is God’s gentle reminder…

Nothing stays dormant forever.

What once looked empty…
what felt still…
what seemed delayed…
…was simply being prepared.

Today is not just a new season outside it’s an invitation inside your heart:

to bloom again
to hope again
to step forward again
You don’t have to force anything.
Flowers don’t strive… they respond to the light.
And so can you.

Spring Breathing (Light & Easy)

Smile softly…

Inhale (4 seconds):
“New life is here…”

Exhale (6 seconds):
“I welcome joy…”

Again…

Inhale:
“I am blooming…”

Exhale:
“In God’s love…”

Let your shoulders relax…
Let your spirit feel lighter…

Repeat
Inhale (4 seconds):
“New life is here…”

Exhale (6 seconds):
“I welcome joy…”

Again…

Inhale:
“I am blooming…”

Exhale:
“In God’s love…”

Spring Affirmations

Say these with a gentle smile:
• I welcome new beginnings.
• I am blooming in God’s perfect timing.
• Joy is rising within me.
• I release the heaviness of past seasons.
• I step into light, hope, and renewal.

Spring Prayer

Father,
Thank You for the beauty of new beginnings.
Just as You awaken the earth with color and life,
awaken my heart with joy and expectation.
Help me release what no longer belongs in this new season.
Fill me with fresh hope, fresh vision, and fresh peace.
Let me bloom where You have planted me—
with grace, with light, and with love.
Today, I choose joy.
Today, I choose renewal.
Today, I walk in Your newness.
In Jesus’ name, amen

Closing Blessing

May this spring bring you:

Light where there was heaviness
Growth where there was waiting
Joy where there was silence

And may you feel it deep in your spirit…

And remember, this is your corner of love, light, and truth.
I love you. I believe in you.
And I’ll see you next time.

English:

What Is Love?

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” 1 John 4:7–8
“So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them…” Genesis 1:27

Love is not complicated.
We have created categories: romantic love, familial love, platonic love, self-love, as if love has different origins depending on the relationship. But in truth, there is only one origin of love.

God is love.

Love is not merely an emotion. It is not just a feeling of passion, affection, attachment, or care. It is not simply a verb, a noun, or an adjective. Love is a spiritual essence. It is a divine element placed within us at the moment we are created, because we are made in His image.
If God is love, and we are created in His image, then love is already rooted within us from birth. It is not something we manufacture. It is not something we earn. It is not something we divide into categories. It is something we carry because He placed it there.
What we call romantic love, familial love, platonic love, or self-love are simply expressions of the same divine source flowing through different relationships.
Romantic love is not a separate love; it is God’s love expressed through intimacy and covenant.
Familial love is not another type; it is God’s love expressed through belonging and protection.
Friendship is not a different form; it is God’s love expressed through loyalty and shared life.
Even self-love is not selfishness; it is recognizing the image of God within us and honoring His creation.
Love does not change depending on who receives it. Its source remains the same.
We are spiritual beings created by His hand. Our calling is to reflect His love in all we do without judgment, without division, without regard to skin color, race, or background. Love does not discriminate because God does not discriminate.
When we understand that love originates from God and lives within us, it simplifies everything. We stop striving to define love and begin living it. We stop categorizing love and begin embodying it.
God, our God, is love ! It is pure, precious, and eternal.
And because He is love, we are never without it. Be love!

Affirmation:
I am created in the image of God.
God is love; therefore, love lives within me.
Love is not outside of me — it flows from His Spirit within me.
His nature lives in me.
I do not chase love; I carry it.
I choose to respond with grace, even when it is difficult.
I choose compassion over judgment.
I choose unity over division.
The love of God anchors my heart, steadies my mind, and guides my words.
I am a reflection of His pure and precious love.
I am love.

Let these words settle into your spirit. Repeat them whenever your heart needs to be reminded of the love within you.
Blessings,
Cheli🤍

Bendiciones,
Cheli 🤍

I wrote something from my heart today — about God, creation, and why we were never meant to lose our color or flavor. 🍞

It’s a reflection, not an argument. An invitation, not a judgment.

If you’ve been feeling the weight of division or longing for remembrance, I shared the full piece on Substack.
