r clients (with high pay-offs!). Therefore, her clinic is designed to communicate calm, kindness, challenge, focus, and growth. Emily is especially passionate about listening, being flexible, and adapting to each child’s and family’s needs. Professional licenses:

Emily received her Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and her undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of South Carolina.

Hello, my name is Emily and I am so glad you are here! I am a licensed pediatric speech therapist and private practice owner of The Garden Speech Therapy in Knoxville, TN. I provide specialized diagnostic and treatment services for stuttering, childhood apraxia of speech, and speech sound disorders. I know that engaging in therapy can be a challenging and vulnerable experience for clients (with high pay-offs!). Therefore, I’ve created a therapy environment that communicates calm, kindness, challenge, focus, and growth. I am especially passionate about listening and being flexible so that I'm able to adapt to each child’s/family’s needs. My mission is for clients to feel engaged and valued in each of our interactions.
