June 7th is National Cancer Survivors Day, and Knoxville FNA Clinic proudly honors those who have fought this battle.
A fine needle aspiration biopsy (FNA) is a minimally invasive procedure performed on palpable lumps or superficial nodules seen by ultrasound or other imaging modalities. As Knoxville's only freestanding outpatient pathologist performed FNA biopsy clinic, we strive to reduce some of the difficulties patients and providers face when needing this procedure. We offer convenient appointment times with easy scheduling, and since the biopsy is performed and interpreted by a pathologist--rapid results.

The procedure is simple and quick, and you may drive or return to work immediately after. Providers can expect a preliminary diagnosis available the same day as the procedure, with final pathology results often within 24-48 hours. The pathologist is always available to answer any questions you may have about the procedure. We will work with your office staff to ensure ease of ordering, and we handle all the scheduling.
