Take a peek at this 9.4 week baby from our “It’s All About the Itty Bitty Details” scan! This package uses a transvaginal approach so we can see every tiny, beautiful detail of baby!

9 Week Fetus Facts!
• Baby is the size of a grape 🍇
• Organogenesis is largely complete by the end of week 8 meaning that all major organs have finished forming! This means baby has now graduated from an embryo to a fetus!
• Facial features are beginning to form including eyelids, nose, and mouth
• Fingers and toes are becoming more defined loosing their webbed appearance (no more little paddles!)
• Baby is already moving and wiggling, even though mama can’t feel it yet!
• The head is still larger than the body as the brain rapidly develops. I call this their little beluga stage 🐳
• The placenta is taking over hormone production meaning we can see that finish line to that first trimester sickness being over for a lot of moms!
