RTT is Rapid Transformational Therapy, a technique created by Marisa Peer, which is designed to be an effective form of hypnosis which helps you see rapid results. A single RTT session is beautifully designed so that you get the most out of your time. We begin before your session by having a 15 minute long Discovery Call. The purpose of this call is for me to find out what you'd like to work on an
d also for me to answer any of you questions about RTT and what your therapy session will be like. Prior to your session, I will send you a Zoom link and an intake form which you'll fill out online. The intake form helps narrow down how we'll conduct our session, particularly in the event that you have multiple growth or healing goals. The intake form also helps me get some pertinent information so that we can maximize your one-on-one session time. Once we begin your appointment, we'll start by doing a short in-person intake of about 10 minutes so that we're really clear about what your goals are and what you'd like to work on. Then we'll get you right into hypnosis, which is one of the most deeply relaxing experiences you'll ever experience. The sensation is very much like being in a pleasant daydream. Through a few additional steps, we'll deeper your hypnosis and then we'll start addressing what you came in for. You can expect to be in hypnosis for about an hour and when you come back, you will feel deeply relaxed and refreshed. Shortly after your session, I will create a custom audio recording to send you which will be 15 minutes long. This is the key to MAXIMIZING your session and I ask that you listen to it once per day for a minimum of 21 days. The audio recording simply deepens the effect of the hypnosis and allows you to create new patterns of habit in your life and mind. For most people, it's deeply relaxing. While a lot of people are initially "weirded out" by hypnotism, it's a natural state that you're in at several times throughout the day. Have you ever found yourself in a daydream? Have you ever driven somewhere and when you got there, you can't remember how you got there -- like you were on autopilot? Even as you fall asleep at night, you quickly drift through hypnosis states (called the hypnagogic state) on your way to sleep. It's a sleep of the nervous system. You will still be aware of your surroundings and you'll still hear ambient noises. Will you make me do anything funny during my session? Absolutely NOT. For many people, their experience with hypnotism has been seeing stage comedy hypnosis. You might have seen people clucking like chickens, for instance. That's not what we're doing here at all. You will be comfortably seated and will be communicating with me nearly the entire session. Another important point: Hypnosis can't be used to make you do anything that is against your own moral or ethical code. Hypnosis can't be used to make you do bad things. The entire goal of our sessions together is to assist you with reaching your personal healing or growth goals. Why RTT? RTT stands for Rapid Transformational Therapy and it was developed by Marisa Peer, who has been a working hypnotherapist for 30 years. Marisa has written several bestselling books, has been featured on TV shows such as The Biggest Loser, and has even been named Britain's Best Doctor. What makes RTT special is that it values your limited time. It is not intended to be a long form of therapy where you'll go once a week for years. Instead, most clients seeking RTT come for just 1 to 3 sessions, though it can sometimes be more. We waste little time in RTT and want to get you directly connected to your subconscious mind so that we can help identify the very causes of your issue. This is usually done through regression to scenes early in your life. Then, we want to find the common thread or theme that ties these scenes together. At the end, we help reprogram your subconscious mind -- essentially, we help you create new words, pictures, and stories. As RTT practitioners, it is our goal to help you see positive results as quickly as possible. What can you help me with? I personally specialize in working with Healthcare Workers, Humanitarians, and Caretakers and helping them with their issues including stress reduction, anxiety, trauma, culture shock, coping skills, and confidence. However, I can work with any number of other issues such as weight loss, smoking cessation, phobias, and so on. If I feel like your particular issue is something that would be better addressed by another RTT therapist, I will refer you, because it is my intention that you get the help you need even if it isn't from me.
